Any of you ever gotten NBA League Pass for the entire season? Was it worth it?

Yes. Definitely worth it if either:

1) You live out of the area of your favorite team

and/or

2) You love basketball in general

I've had it for years. I watch every Spurs game so it's well worth it to me.

You get every game except the national ones: ABC, TNT, ESPN, and NBA TV. And you get broadband with the TV package. You can buy just the broadband if you want.

LP starts the first day of the regular season and ends the last. No Playoffs. Local games are blacked out, you get those on your local channels.

They do a free preview the first week, and another one halfway through. They have an early bird deal where you can save $20, and they cut the price halfway through the season.

Every provider I've had will split the bill over three or four months, be sure to ask yours, it can help the budget.

I get it every year. Last year I didn't really utilize it and felt like I wasted it. If you have interest, time and can get in a groove where you're religiously watching games every night, it's well worth it. It's can be a lot of fun watching the scoreboards and switching between the endings of every close game.

Ya, I never worked nights, so I would just get home and watch as many games as I could almost every night when I did not have plans.

Then you can rewatch games you missed on broadband, which I did, or at least the 4th quarters of games I missed.

I don't really watch tv unless it is sports (mainly basketball, football and soccer), so it is awesome to have.

I think if I didn't live in Texas, I would definitely get it since I would get to watch the Mavs' game but since I live in the DFW area, I get to watch their games. I'm just not sure if it would be worth it since I work nights most of the week. I usually get off at around 9:30pm so I would probably only be able to watch the West Coast games live.

Yes, exactly. Plus games from every other team outside of your area.

I mistakenly started another thread asking if they're offering anything on Verizon. Anyone have any ideas?

I live out of the area of my favorite team, AND I love basketball in general.

I guess this explains why I have a call planned to my cable carrier sometime this week. :greedy

My biggest gripe with LP is they blackout the local teams forcing you to watch it on the regular channels.

But I work nights and watch from work computers so I can't watch my local teams. I get to watch pretty much every team in nice LP quality... EXCEPT for the Lakers.

I end up asking Justin to help me watch Laker games in shitty quality even though I pay for NBALP.

I'm sorry, I'm just too in awe that I just saw all 4 games tonight in HD on League Pass (Dish Network) that I can't answer your question...

Only on some providers. When I had Comcast last year, they only had NBA TV on HD, and none of the others. In Dish Network I have all the other channels both in SD and HD. Last night they broadcasted the Mavs and the Rockets games in HD.
I expect the Spurs games on FSN Southwest to be broadcast in HD all season long. :tu

What sort of internet speed do you need for solid, uninterupted viewing?

Yeah, see, that's what I was afraid of. I have FSN SW, too, but in the Dallas area...so I get all the Mav games in "glorious HD". :depressed

I went to sign up again for League Pass with Cox Cable this morning and was told I was on auto renewal. I don't remember doing that last year, but, I didn't protest. My question is how then do I qualify/sign up for the Broadband access for my computer at NBA.com League Pass? It's free now and I have registered, but, need to know how I'll still get it after the free time is over.

they hold em for two days. After that you cant stream them, I think.

To the poster who asked how to get LP BB after signing up with your cable co. - you gotta send em your cable provider name acct number and maybe a bill showing you bought it by creating a ticket on the website - so far for me its been a disaster but I have been able to use the free preview to get what I have already pay for. hopefully it works out in the end.

https://audience.nba.com/services/msib/flow/lpb-msoActivate

just got an email with this activation linkfrom their customer support - It was about a 3-4 day turnaround

It worked when I put my account number in. Now Comcast needs to come through with a cable box that can actually pick up the channels :lol

I also checked the archive and it goes back to the beginning of the season, so hopefully that is the case. It would be great if all the games stayed archived.
