Attn: Lakerfans. Your team plays suckass defense and if this is indicative of how your team plays without their latin dude, now you know how we felt without ours in last year's playoffs with the Mav nots.

OT...seriously?
:lmao

And have a home loss too.
:lmao

Well if you guys can win the rest at home, then you can tie the Celtics for most home wins ever at home. It's an easy bet that that won't happen.

But we won todays games and you guys lost yours. 4-1 Mavs! HAHAHAHA~!

Spurs Record on B2B's:

Last season:

54-28 .659

Second games of B2B

12-6 .667

^^adding to that..

2007-2008: 13-5
2006-2007: 12-4
2005-2006: 5-9
2004-2005: 10-9
2003-2004: 13-6
2002-2003: 13-5

the only bad years we've had were 2005-2006 and 2004-2005..not a coincidence that those were the 2 years that our franchise player was battling serious injuries..

Plus they have 4 titles.

Wow, nice job Rockets, missing their two best players in Yao and Tmac, and their 6th man in Budinger and still almost won.

Brooks should have been shooting FTs......oh well.....

Can't win them all.

Do you think we really need the guy that carried Kobe to a title?

:lol

He'll certainly help once he comes back. He can play a whole lot of minutes too. We're certainly a lot deeper with him in the rotation. I'm looking forward to next week.

You were trying to act like the Spurs cannot win a back-to-back, citing their only one played this year and lost as evidence. That is playing a technical game.

How would you (or and of you other non Flamer posters) say the reffing was tonight?

Pretty Kobe friendly, and Brooks got mugged on the perimeter all night by Fisher with out any calls.

It was like watching Derek Harper hand checking in the 80s...lol.

Still....the Rockets had their chances.

Do you have a team to brag on? Why are so many Spurs fans on the Celtics nuts when it comes to hating the Lakers. Are guys that hopeless.

I'm a Spurs fan lotsalosah!

But I'm also a proud card-carrying member of ABTL. Anyone But The Lakers.
It's not the team I hate, it's you fuckin' fans and the media horde that loves your numbers.

I can't wait till Tim passes Kobe AND Shaq for most titles. Better get your popcorn ready.

Hey, the results are the results. You have already lost a home game and you're point differential is, as of today: You've won 4 games with a + 1 Point Per Game Differential. A win's a win but that number shows us all that your team has deficiencies.

The Spurs have won 2 games with a + 9.66 Point Per Game Differential.

Again, your team has no bench. Vujacic sucks, you can tell the truth to us, we already know. Farmar, was he offered an extension in LAL land? The answer to that is NO.
How many minutes are your key players averaging?
Kobe is at 40, Bynum is at 39, Odom is at 40, Artest is at 38 and Fish is at 31. What does that tell you? It means you have no depth to relieve those guys. Why can't you play the shot blocking machine Mbenga? Because there is a difference between pre-season and the season when games count.

I'm telling you this so that you won't be surprised when the Lakers are eliminated from contention like as in SLAPPED DOWN BY THE HAND OF GOD or at the very least, the HAND OF MANU.

If Kobe beats Tim to 5, then I write a 1 page essay of how Kobe is. No re-write neccesary.

1 page is all that's needed :)

5-21.

Ariza gave a gutsy performance but Artest outplayed him. Stop being such a retarded homer.
Head to head i already knew that would happen. After last years playoffs, Artest owned ariza when he was on our team. But what you have to realize is that Ariza will play better vs the majority of the teams inthe league, as artest won't.

Ron Artest can be awesome on your team but what I came to realize is that he has to be the alpha male wing. Him and Tmac didn't work out, even though tmac wasn't even doing that much. When Ron Artest plays as the head he makes the same old stupid mistakes but he makes up for them in a much better way. I am curious to see how he will pan out with Kobe. He will shoot in the high 30% range for the season but his toughness and defense are really what you're getting with him.

I think you guys will like artest A LOT more once you see him on King Crab. He can't guard guys with lateral quickness as Kobe, but people like Lebron who are used to getting easy drives with brute force he locks down really well.

Coming from the guy whose team got bounced out of the first round by a much inferior Mav's team. Classic!

Again...reading is fundamental. You guys are playing like shit without your latin stud. The Spurs did the same thing against the Mavs last season. I said that earlier did I not? Or perhaps comprehension is a weakpoint for you LAL fans.
You guys need to step up your game. You are all like the letters for Tom Bradley International...LAX.

My biggest annoyance with Fish is his inability or refusal to make the entry passes to open post players.

.800 ball is a mirage 21_droppings. You just don't know it yet. :lol
You'll RECOGNIZE that your team ain't all that without the Latin passion that is like stars in the night sky.

You are this dense. We'll see how they play once they start playing real teams. I mean really, a +1 point differential? That means that your team could have just as easily lost those games. And for your starters to be playing 40 minutes per this early in the season?

I'm just saying:

Like we didn't hear that all last year before sweeping your Celts and the Cavs. I'm a bit too lazy now to do the research but I would be willing to bet the Lakers record last year whule playing the elite was better than most if not the best overall. The Lakers are notorious for playing to the level of their competition.

IIRC, Celts, Lakers and Magic all had decent records against winning teams, but the Cavs didn't.
