I said McCoy was better in the game of college football than Bradford last year.
And this year actually, lol.
Bradford crumbled like a stack of smegma in his very first career game without a dominant offensive line. Colt probably ruptured his scrot when Suh tossed him around like a ragdoll last night and didn't even fumble. And that's his speciality!

Well first off, I've got to give my respects to Nebraska-they played a hell of a game on defense. I might have a man crush on Suh and he doesn't even play for my team. That guy is a complete beast, he literally controlled the line of scrimmage the entire game. One of the most dominating defensive performances by a single individual that I've seen in over 30 years of watching college football.
BUT, we won. And in the end it doesn't matter if it's by 1 point or 40, UT just collected our 3rd Big XII championship and we're going to the big dance yet again. I sincerely hope that our offensive line pulls their collective heads out of their ass before the tide come rolling into Pasadena. Their play was pathetic. Out special teams also needs some kind of wake up call. I've never been a fan of that rugby style punting, and it should speak volumes to Mack and the rest of the coaches that the best punting all night was by McCoy. Get Gold out on the field for the alabama game!!
My gut feeling at this point is we'll be lucky to stay within 10 points of alabama if they play anywhere close to the level they played against florida. However, a few things to consider:
1. Major used to be the OC at Alabama, he knows that system and knows their tendencies. Could be helpful in how we defend bama.
2. Could have a DJ back by the big game, have heard a few things indicating this might happen.
3. Our defense played a hell of a game against Nebraska, if they can have another outstanding game we've got a chance. I also think we defend better against running teams that don't run out of the spread (as the ags did with great success against us), and bama is more of a traditional running team.
4. If Ingram wins the Heisman (he gets my vote), the spotlight is completely on bama and we've got nothing to lose, the world is against us, nobody thinks we can win, etc. Sound similar to a theme from a game back in 2005? That kind of motivation could work for us.
I will now commence heavy pill/booze use so that I can stay in a semi-coma until the night of the game. Hook'em!

yeah rugby punting doesnt work so well when you hesitate, then roll directly into the defender for a block
the offense line is shit i hate to say, all these guys were here last year except dockery and they all got weaker and have the worst feet and lower bodies ive ever seen in a texas line
a team cannot keep recruiting white 270 lb kids with 4.0 GPAs, you cant do things like that and it caught up with them. mcwhorter is going to be forced into retirement or fired after this year

too bad that's all that Gardere can really hang his hat on. His one bowl appearance was an ass kicking in the Cotton Bowl by Miami

wow..Blake going to the nuthugger reference..what a shocker. You know what? He's the most accurate NCAA QB in history...the most wins of any NCAA QB in history...most accurate NCAA QB in a single season...if me saying he's better than Bradford is nuthugging, then yeah..I am..because there ain't a damn thing that puts Bradford above McCoy in any way, shape, or form. Stats, wins, accuracy...Colt's better in everything. Saying Bradford is better than McCoy is just sad and ridiculous, and just shows that your judgment is blinded by your hatred of UT's success...oh...that and you're a douche. :)

you admitted you are. That waters down any argument you make.
You know what? He's the most accurate NCAA QB in history...the most wins of any NCAA QB in history...most accurate NCAA QB in a single season...
he had the best accuracy % ever last year and Bradford still had a higher QB rating, threw for more TDs (50 - McCoy's 34) while both had 8 INTs.
if me saying he's better than Bradford is nuthugging, then yeah..I am..
yes you are. at least you admit it again.
because there ain't a damn thing that puts Bradford above McCoy in any way, shape, or form.

Stats, wins, accuracy...Colt's better in everything.
stats, no. Heisman trophy in head to head voting during Colt's best accuracy year, no.

To say that the QB with the most wins and best accuracy in NCAA history is better than a QB who doesn't have those records is not blind judgment. It's called reality. When you enter into it, let me know, and maybe I'll discuss it with you.

Texas won because they ran the ball well and because of great special teams play, like the Shipley return for a TD.

Maybe if Texas threw 60 times a game and kept Colt out there while running up the score on hapless opponents...
To think that Colt would be the winningest QB in NCAA history on almost any other team would be blind judgement.
:lmao No shit. Best Blake argument yet. But hey, Crabtree wouldn't of had those 20 touchdown catch seasons if he was at any other school in any other offense. :lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao

maybe. But he didn't.
So if you or 90210 wants to talk about how Colt > Bradford because of career stats, well then I can think of a few QBs who have better career numbers than Colt.

just trying to explain to a simpleton like you that just because someone can win a heisman doesn't mean they're the best player.
Graham Harrell has 2500 more yards and 22 more touchdowns than Colt...how is that not better?
WTF?
Colt McCoy - 13,244 yards 112 touchdowns
Sam Bradford - 8,403 yards 88 touchdowns
Now if you're going to try to tell me that Bradford is a better college QB because he played better in one season, you must be trolling, because I know not even your dumb ass believes that one season makes a player better than the other. Nice try though.
To think that Colt would be the winningest QB in NCAA history on almost any other team would be blind judgement. When you jump off Colt's nuts, let me know and maybe I'll discuss it with you.
But you know what? He didn't have to do it on any other team. He did it on the Longhorns. And to think Bradford would have been as successful as he was on any other team is just as dumb...because Oklahoma was supposed to be a LOT better than UT last year...then they lost to them.

Obviously you think that just sticking around for 4 years and racking up more career totals instead of per game totals means he is automatically better than Bradford.
You must be nut hugging because I know not even your dumbass believes career numbers make one player better than the other.
Terrible try.
But you know what? He didn't have to do it on any other team. He did it on the Longhorns. And to think Bradford would have been as successful as he was on any other team is just as dumb...because Oklahoma was supposed to be a LOT better than UT last year...then they lost to them.

and that he got more wins...that was another argument...selective reading is not a good thing.
just explaining to a misinformed idiot like you that not winning a Heisman doesn't help your argument.Guess a misinformed idiot like you needs to hear that winning a heisman isn't everything
Why are you going back to career numbers?
Maybe because we're discussing who the best QB is...and the entire fucking career is what matters..not one season.
Obviously you think that just sticking around for 4 years and racking up more career totals instead of per game totals means he is automatically better than Bradford.Obviously you're assuming that the glass bodied Bradford would be able to stay healthy and play as good as he has his entire career. And your assumptions have GOT to be right, don't they? One guy went out, stayed healthy, and got the stats, and one guy didn't. That's what matters.
You must be nut hugging because I know not even your dumbass believes career numbers make one player better than the other.OK..so then you tell me, since you can't use numbers to tell who's the better QB, how the fuck do you do it? You tell me what makes Bradford better than McCoy? That one season?
I wonder how many Georgia nut huggers were running around calling David Greene the best QB ever before Colt broke his record of most wins.David Greene held one record Colt holds not just the wins, but the accuracy percentage record for one season, and his career. Terrible try.

says who? you? who are you?
Obviously you're assuming that the glass bodied Bradford would be able to stay healthy and play as good as he has his entire career.
I'm not assuming anything, but you certainly are.
And your assumptions have GOT to be right, don't they? One guy went out, stayed healthy, and got the stats, and one guy didn't. That's what matters.
in 2008, in Colt's best statistical year, one guy got the Heisman....and better stats.
OK..so then you tell me, since you can't use numbers to tell who's the better QB, how the fuck do you do it? You tell me what makes Bradford better than McCoy? That one season?
I'm not saying Bradford is better than McCoy. I'm saying you are a liar and your reasoning for choosing McCoy as the best QB ever is flawed because you keep contradicting yourself.
So that I can go back and show you what a dumbass you are, answer which of Colt McCoy's seasons do you think was better.......the 2008 one loss Colt or the 2009 undefeated Colt where he might win a Heisman?
David Greene held one record Colt holds not just the wins, but the accuracy percentage record for one season, and his career. Terrible try.
Colt's career % is 70.9.
Harrell's was 69.2.
Harrell also hold the record for most career TDs and finished 2nd in career passing yards.
Absolutely horrible tries on your part to go with all of your lying.

I'd say your hatred was turning you into an idiot, if you weren't already one in the first place. Where's the contradiction? I said his stats were better...and they are. But saying I'm going nuts is fucking ignorant. I said, as you posted above, that in my opinion, Colt is the best of all time. Argue my opinion all you want, but that won't change it. And where the fuck did Harrell come into this conversation? You were arguing that Bradford was better than Colt...Bradford's completion percentage is 64.6 over his career.
