We played a very good game and were up at one point by 20. If we'd played a flawless game and could only muster a 5-point lead then I'd be concerned. And btw, Hill is just getting warmed up along with RJ....both were non-existent in Game 1 and the Spurs continued to not only mount comebacks, but to take the lead at points.....before the whistles started blowing.

The other thing about this game is, it allows me to comfortably watch the NFL draft. When the draft started last year, we were in a crucial game four with Dallas and on the verge of being on the brink of elimination (it was the game Hill started to shine when Pop put him in out of desparation). This year, the series is TIED going back to SA and all is right with the world......for the time being, lol.

If there's one thing I'll give Carlisle, it's that he is very good at making adjustments so I'll expect the Mavs to be that much better prepared come Friday. However, as has been mentioned, last year was last year. Manu and Tim were both still gimpy outside of a few fashes and we were relying on Tony and Drew Gooden (of all people) for an offensive spark. We're deeper this year.

the 3rd game is gonna be tough but i think we can pull it off cuz manu and duncan have been consistent, and parker is playing better and better. if rj can bring it like he did today, thatll be big. i also think that hill will improve on the offensive end because he is slowly recovering from that ankle injury. and he was killer at the end of the season.

I always thought Tim and Kobe would have been a better combo than Shaq and Kobe.

Shaq has been pretty lucky with the guards he's had.

It would of been better from a skills and EGO standpoint ...I am not saying Tim has NO EGO all GREAT players do ...but i think kobe would of respect the dedication and hardwork Tim put in to his craft ...and Tim has never let himself get "fat".

Plus Tim would of been a GREAT influence on kobe ...a guy mature in his game and demeanor even as a rookie....would of been a great role model for Kobe. Im not saying Kobe wouldnt sTILL be an ass ...but probaly less so.

Also Tim is clutch and can actually been given the ball late without fear of a hacking strategy ...those 2 in game late together would of been amazing.
