AT&T CENTER – A year ago, San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said about then-rookie George Hill, “these playoffs aren’t for George.” And through three playoff games this season, current Spurs rookie DeJuan Blair hadn’t done much to prove that this year’s playoffs fit him very well either.

But on Sunday night, Blair left his mark on the 2010 NBA Playoffs, providing the motor for a big second half in the Spurs 92-89 win in Game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks.

It may seem to me that the Spurs and their draft "Midas Touch" isn't over just yet with this guy & even George Hill. I hope he does blossom into an awesome player because this dude is definitely starting to make waves.

Blair was great yesterday and gave us a huge energy burst but I would be cautious. Blair did his damage when Dallas went small playing Dirk at Center and Marion at PF.

Weren't the Spurs also playing small? And for a little bit he was facing off against Haywood.
