    Andrew A. McNeil

AT&T CENTER – A year ago, San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said about then-rookie George Hill, “these playoffs aren’t for George.” And through three playoff games this season, current Spurs rookie DeJuan Blair hadn’t done much to prove that this year’s playoffs fit him very well either.

It may seem to me that the Spurs and their draft "Midas Touch" isn't over just yet with this guy & even George Hill. I hope he does blossom into an awesome player because this dude is definitely starting to make waves.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Mavs try Hack-a-Beast with him soon.

Blair was great yesterday and gave us a huge energy burst but I would be cautious. Blair did his damage when Dallas went small playing Dirk at Center and Marion at PF.

Barea is a man's man, he only slightly dejected that he lost a limb, and a huge amount of blood to boot.

Weren't the Spurs also playing small? And for a little bit he was facing off against Haywood.
