They do, but they're surprisingly competitive. Also, I'm in the MLIS program at LSU, so my school's library is in Baton Rouge but I'm still living in New Orleans. Trying to avoid that much of a commute. Hoping to get a non-student position at Tulane's library, though.

I like the New Orleans part. Working retail sucks no matter where you are, though. There are luckily quite a few library jobs that open up here, so I feel hopeful. Especially if I can put together a fall course load that's all online so I don't have to schedule around driving to Baton Rouge one or two days per week.

Anyway, I was in WalMart last night because I needed a new razor. I went down the razor aisle and there was this dude all buffed out and a hottie behind him looking over his shoulder. He had a razor in his hand and was like "yeah...this Mach III is the shit. yeah...it's expensive but what the fuck. Blades are like $20 apiece...that's why they put trackers in them." She's like "uh huh...that's cool big daddy".

Now I use a Mach III and it is a great razor but it was time for me to put on a move. I sauntered up next to them, reached right in front of Captain Buff and grabbed a Mach III. I also grabbed a Schick Hydro 5 Blade. I then looked at the Mach III, shook my head, snorted and dropped it on the ground. I grabbed a 2nd Hydro and a few boxes of blades. I turned and caught the dude's eye and farted sardonically at the razor in his hand. As I was walking away, I turned to see his bitch looking at me within wanting eyes. I tipped an imaginary hat to her and pumped my fist (full of razors).

When I went back to look at the video games, I stuck the razors and blades in the $5 bin.
