He said that it had been downgraded to a tropical storm, that the waves from the surge were powerful and that people were curious about the storm. That was his report. he did not even criticize the people out there as it being unsafe.

During the storm, my satellite tv was down so I could only catch NBC with a regular antenna, and it was pathetic. What's the point of having people standing in the middle of the storm tethered with rope and the wind blowing on the mic where you can't hear half of the shit they're talking about, while the cameraman is filming from inside some cozy building. smh
