He hit clutch shot after clutch shot in the playoffs (you know, where we used to judge a player's merits), and if he had lost as many of those games as he won, we wouldn't have made it past the Lakers in 03, much less the Mavs

It's not bullshit. He hit clutch shots, and he did some stupid shit like taking bad 3-point shots in the last minute, early in the shot clock, when we had a narrow lead. Just like he was known for losing his cool and throwing away games at Indy and Golden State.
