I don't ever like to blame the refs for the outcome of the game, but Jenning's hitting TP's arm for a steal and calling the flop was absolute bullshit.

I know everyone is going to ride RJ for that shot, but he went up with no hesitation. Thats not been RJ's MO in the past seasons.

I don't mind it.

Same here Im not hating RJ for the last second chance. The Spurs have fail to win on the road because the defense is downright.....Im lost for words :depressed

pop should have called a timeout. the only time you don't call a timeout is when ginobili is in the game because he can create at the 3 pt line. the rest of the players on the floor were mostly catch and shoot type players so pop should have drew a play. that plus no call on parker and bogut flop cost spurs the game.

there was a flop on bogut - that was utter bs.

still, the game was lost on all the layups, dunks and 3ft shots the bucks stored in the 4th qtr. that was just ridiculous D, with the offense moving so well.

Missing FT's, turnovers in crunch time, bad defense...just another Spurs road game. We honestly need more losses like this if we want to get a decent draft pick.

if he really wanted to imitate manu, parker would just sit on the bench and do nothing.

Tom?

O is next to I on the keyboard, and my typing is awful... ;)

the inability to get stops in key moments is once again the biggest issue with this team.

Totally.

Actually, no, Tim charged Bogut, it was a fair call.

Looks like we'll see Kawhi starting from now on since TJ is out and Neal needs to be the back-up point. No, it's not a quote from Pop. I'm just guessing.

Kawhi earned it tonight.

Do you even watch the spurs? Pop is usually one of the best at drawing plays for the open 3. How many times have we seen him draw up some plays that gets a guy a wide open look from the corner??

So a TO would have resulted in a wide open 3? Ok. How is that better than what they got: A wide open 3?

Some of you are god damn retarded.

Great great game from Kawhi but his lateral movement, or lackthereof, is troubling.

It looks like his best defense so far is to let his guy beat him and then recover late with his length to force a steal. i'd like to see him use his feet more and move side to side better.

This team is scaring the shit out of me, but I guess as long as we have home court, we should NOT be concerned....

WTF

I mean, that Anderson for Green sub might have singularly costed us this game

the defense was beyond mung

never seen a spurs team shoot like this from the field and still lose, even if spurs teams have a slight point edge, we normally have the smarts, savviness, guts, and heart to pull the win out

fucking Milwaukee.

Sadly enough, the defense was looking decent before Manu went down.

With Manu out of the fold, the Spurs look like last year's team all over again. All offense, no defense.

idk man - it surely looked like bogut went down too fast to me. it's the hometown factor - if the refs don't blow the whistle, then duncan makes the layup/short jumpshot and everyone in the building is going home cursing the refs. much easier to make the lame call than playing it 50-50.

Without Hill and Manu, the spurs have zero foot speed on the perimeter.

RJ/Leonard/Anderson all look painfully slow when guarding even guys with average speed like Jax.

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh if Pop really said that, it's a load of fucking horseshit, because thus far this season, Pop has specifically set lineups to AVOID having his best defensive team on the floor.

Pop has noone to look to but himself.

Anderson over Green tonight, in a Matt Bonner +/- world cost us this game.
In a common sense world, it cost us this game.

Pop's brain health should be a regular topic along with parker's burst, tim's bounce, etc

I know what you are saying, Manny. With respect - Jefferson's shot was contested. He had to slip the defender, and then come back and set his feet, knowing that the game clock was about to expire. It's not the same thing as being ready with his feet set, before he catches the ball.

Jefferson did a hell of a job getting as good of a look as he did. And he didn't hesitate. And he squared up and stroked it - it just didn't go in. Nobody is arguing with any of that. (Or if they are, you're right about them being retards.) But even Sean commented in the post-game that it "wasn't as easy of a shot as R.J. is accustomed to." With the way R.J. has been stroking it, I'll take my chances on that look more than a lot of others. But I think they would have been better off with a time out.

If only Pop was saying "you will never play again!!!"....

In reality he is saying "better luck next time"....

That's bull shit

He hit clutch shot after clutch shot in the playoffs (you know, where we used to judge a player's merits), and if he had lost as many of those games as he won, we wouldn't have made it past the Lakers in 03, much less the Mavs

And BTW Cant_Be... Stephen Jackson absolutely kicked our asses tonight. We may disagree about the othe stuff, but the bastard plays hard, and he's got heart. We could sure as hell use some of that. If you look, I agreed that it would be good to have him on the team. I just think he's like RonArtestMettaWorldPeace in that both of them offset some of their ridiculous talent with their heads. But would I want them on this team? Damn right I would.

I am fucking angry as MOFO right now. Should have won this game. reserves like Bonner and JA killed us and lost the Spurs worked hard for. So hard to play these guys out there.

FUCKING horrible play from TP. TP looks like he's checked out to me. He's not been giving it his all, I seriously doubt he's hurt. His PG play and decision making in crunch time stinks. I'm also sick of him freezing out certain players on the team. If he doesn't think you will make a shot he doesn't pass you the ball, even if it is the right basketball play. jason kidd, chris paul, D-will, heck even Lebron will make the right basketball play most of the time as pass the ball to you if you're open. That projects confidence to their teammates and gives them a better chance at making the shot. TP looks for his own too much and just ignores certain players. Having said that TP was a lot better tonight, but he's gotta decide if he's in or out. Give it your all or ask for trade if you don't believe in the team TP.

Bonner, Blair, JA these guys need to be sent packing. Not Spurs players at all.

RJ, I am OK with that shot he took. Shot the ball with confidence. I'm happy with that even though it didn't go in. Good effort on that shot RJ. If RJ could just play better defense and rebound better I'd be satisfied with that.

Sjax. Straight up killer.

LOL Bucks yeah, but unknown is the last two seasons we swept them! Heads still thinkin of the 00's when they had Ray Allen, Cassell and Big Dog when they got most of their wins. Some carry that on still! Last time they swept us was 07, that year we won the title lol! After that it's been mostly Spurs. I hate them too though hahahhahaa.

Since his breakout game Green seems to be playing too fast and trying to do too much and force the issue when he has the ball. I think he was somewhat in the dog house yesterday which led to his not playing very many minutes.

He was shooting so shitty until he played the Spurs.....seems like so many players have a grudge and shoot amazingly against us for whatever reason.

Watch him come back down to earth after this.
