Splitter worries too much about getting blocked down-low. Instead of trying to get his shots off quicker, he should work on getting his arms extended and getting his shots off at a higher point. He releases too low while shooting around the rim.

I guess that's why these guys get the big bucks. If I had fresh screws in my hand, I just don't think I could do that.
Second highest shooting percentage in the league says he knows what he is doing.
Oh yeah? I wasn't aware of that.
Guy is shooting 72.7% on his layups this season. He does well around the rim but one of his problems is that he releases too low when he rushes his shots. he missed 4 easy layups last game against the pistons (his 5th miss was blocked and a well contested shot by Wallace). He does well around the rim but he can still improve.

TP saying shhhh, girl.
I wouldn't take that bet if you were giving odds. I just don't get it.
remember we are talking about pop. we never know with him
I'm pretty sure he triple-deeks.
Only when the Spurs go into the flying V.

It's no accident. He sells the move really well.
He does, although most players find it easier to drop step. Whatever works for him is good, and it certainly works! :)

Anthony Carter has more points tonight than he did for the entire 2004 season with the spurs

Doesn't he!? Big Balls Neal.

reserve me a pew in the church of splitter when he creates his own shot
Like the 35+% of his offense that he "creates on his own" while posting up?

Parker playing too many minutes yet again
get healthy already TJ, this sucks
why is tony taking 20 footers when Splitter is destroying them inside?
Because Tony has 28 points making those jump shots.
Think Tiago hasn't missed any tonight?

Considering Toronto averages 88 points per game, I thin it's safe to say our defense still needs a lot of work

Sure, but it's one game out of many. Even very good defenses have a lapse or face hot shooting teams occasionally.

This is what the Spurs deserve for messing around in the 3rd quarter and letting them get hot. And the problem with going small to match them is that their guards and wings are shooting a red hot %, ours not so much
TP and Tiago look tired.
And given the minutes Tony has played, he has every reason to look tired.

Feed the Splitter!
lol the vast majority of his points are the result of good passes and him finishing. not taking the pass, posting up, making a move and making a basket
I actually just told your illiterate ass what percentage of his offense was created from posting up.
13% from offensive rebounds
36% from posting up -------> creating his own shot
