Our attack let us down more than our defense. Lewa has been in shocking form since the WC. He's a class player but looks 15 years older on the pitch now. Hope he gets out of the slump too. Having said that, he's mostly a flat track bully anyway. Messi at least got us to knockouts, Lewa takes us straight into Europa.

Honestly friend, we were missing pedri, gavi and dembele in this second leg. When fully healthy I do wish we could get another DM, but on paper it is a good 11. Lewa will find his form again. I think he's having to play deeper now to pick up the ball and missing Dembele hurts a lot as Lewa and Dembele hooked up very well.

I'll still be happy if we win la liga, but I just hate HOW we played in the second half yesterday. Just completely overwhelmed after a decent first match of the tie and first half the other day. Ah well, onward we go.

Yah to your point I'm very optimistic for the future. Think we are a few defensive & depth pieces away from spoiling in Europe. La Liga is successful season and Copa would be cherry on top.

This club IMO has some bad denseness. It tends to fold when facing adversary. We saw it at Munich. 1 flucky goal turned into 2 because guys hung their heads.

I'm excited though. Let's keep eye on the price which is La Liga.

The issue isn’t Messi’s salary, the issue was giving obnoxious salaries to everyone else on top of some horrific purchases in the transfer market. All that money Barca could have spent far more wisely to continue building around Messi but the sporting project was never any good after 2015.

Now you look at Barca and see how far they have fallen in stature. The CL humiliations still continue but this time in Europa as well. The lowest lows the club has seen in decades.

Laporta is another crack pot who is a slimy liar and politician. I will always support Barca but the way they are run is in absolute shambles. I’d argue they should have won even more trophies especially in CL if they had proper squad building.
