Well deserved, tbh. You guys had an incredible season and run through the playoffs. Spurs tried their best in the NBA Finals, but it was clear when it was over that the changing of the guard is here.
I know it's going to be difficult to keep the same roster after this summer, but Durant alone is a stud, and clearly that FO knows what it's doing. The scary part for the rest of the league is that your guys are young, and if they can keep that roster somewhat in place, they should contend for a while.
But there will be time to talk about the future later. Go enjoy your new NBA championship. :toast
:lmao the jinx is in quite early

If they win, it'll be on Stern's orders, tbh.

How will stern work this if OKC does win the NBA Finals? How will he work around the fact that OKC is one of the smallest markets in the NBA? Will the star power of Durant be enough to cover that up?

Yes -- the NBA has always marketed stars. Sort of like marketing Reggie Miller's Pacers, only if Reggie Miller were an actual superstar.
People even tuned in for Cleveland, when LeBron was on the team.

The 2007 NBA Finals had some of the worst tv ratings in NBA history. Superstars can't always carry the NBA Finals. I mean seriously, these douchebag A-list movie stars and celebs will be going to Oklahoma for probably the first time in their lives and they're probably just gonna bitch about how it's not like NY or LA and there's nothing to do.

celts are more done then spurs imho especially after game 5 @ miami where they used up everything that was left in the tank, a boston - OKC finals would almost certainly be a boring 4-0 but thanks to god we ain't allowing this to happen
Miami - OKC gonna be great entertainment, Miami in 6

And honestly I expect the Heat to win in a finals against OKC. They match up real well.

Ah, but they don't have Derek Fisher on their team. They're doomed, tbh. :lol

They had better win it this year because i think their window is actually small. Crazy no and i'll tell you why..
Russell Westbrook
$5,082,415 FA after this season will want max money...
James Harden
$4,604,760 $5,820,416 FA after next season.. Will want close to max money..
Westbrook and Harden are both arrogant ass clowns who will want to get theirs after they win a title.. Good luck keeping that depth when the cap is 60 mil, they are at 62 mil this year.. Likely Harden goes elsewhere or they lose a ton of depth.

Didn't Westbrook already re-sign for $80M?

He did which ups his annual take to 16 mil up from 5 mil.. That puts him on par with Durant... Harden is gonna want something close to that.. Spurs big 3 stayed in tact with Tony and Manu make 50-60% what Tim made.. That depth will take a hit..

DFish won't be a factor in the Finals at all.
