I suggest for you to actually turn your head around and see what's happening to Madrid, what a disgrace of a team.
Guess they no longer need that asterisk if they end up winning it all, right? :rolleyes

Guess they no longer need that asterisk if they end up winning it all, right? :rolleyesI was actually joking when I said that, no team should deserve an asterisk next to whatever they win because they played against weak teams, if they win they deserve all the praise they deserve, but it's also important to see how Madrid played against those teams, if you ask me I'll just simply say one word: Undeserving.

True. I recall. Seems this guy can do whatever he wants. Today he has thrown at least three elbows, all of them should have been penalized with a yellow card. Thus, he should have been sent off by now. But nothing. In the first match he received at least a booking (although he should have sent off as well at some point), but this game? Nothing.

I'm cool with it, what it needs change is the extra time rule. The away goal shouldn't count on extra-time, is unfair for the team playing the second game at home.

Hadn't even thought of that before but yeah that should be changed. I think the rule is stupid, it should be eliminated. I just don't get the point of it, it doesn't really eliminate aggregate draws (and thus extra time and eventually penalties).

It doesn't completely eliminate it but it diminishes it to the tiniest expression. IMO the away goal gives the games more excitement. Let's say a series ended 1-1 on the first game and in the second game the score is 0-0 with 15 minutes remaning. With no away goal rule both teams would play it safe and probably bore all the way 'till the penalties (kinda like what happens in the WC) but with the current rule at least one team has to push forward therefore leaving more open spaces for the other to counterattack, thing that provides more entertainment.

Pretty much this, tbh.
I'm getting nervous as a motherfucker as kickoff crawls nearer. I hope all the Hoeneß-mess and the news about acquireing of Götze didn't fuck up the teams mindset towards the game.

Honestly, I hate the away goal rule in general.
It should just be whoever has the most goals after both legs wins. Like Barca/PSG should have gone to extra time/penalties. I'm glad Barca advanced but it just felt weird.
Really really nervous about today's game. Am taking a half day at work so I can watch it with a friend at the local bar. As long as Barca gets 1-2 away goals and doesn't lose by more than a goal I'm happy.
2-1 Bayern or especially 2-2 Barca would have me pleased.
Abidal was phenomenal over the weekend. Was surprised they played him a full 90 minutes as I was hoping we'd see a bit of him tonight with Adriano suspended.

The away goal rule is fine
Except in extra time, that's dumb as DAF mentioned.
e.g. Tottenham wins 3-0 at home (90 min), Inter wins 3-0 at home (90 min). Goes to ET (30 min), 1-1. Tottenham advances because they're paying ET 'away'.
That's dumb. The weight of the away rule is too disproportionate in ET.

No, I'm saying that Mourinho is leaving 'cause that's what ALL the journalists in Madrid (most of them Real Madrid's fans and guys that want Mourinho to stay) are informing. They said that Mourinho has already spoken to Abramovich and that Florentino has already signed a pre-contract with Ancelotti. And don't get me wrong Florentino doesn't want Mourinho out of Madrid is Jose who wants out of Madrid.
I'm not wishing anything, in fact I want Mourinho to stay in Madrid, it makes things more interesting and that's what I care about 'cause although I have sympathy for Barca and specially Messi I'm not a Barca fan, their losses and wins really don't affect me much. I prefer entertainment over them having it easy. For example, I wanted a Barca-Madrid final and I bet you no real Barca fan would have wanted Madrid to win it's semifinal.
In any case if there's someone that is wishful thinking it's you, imho.

Yeah I do, actually thought about it for a 1 minute, but just look at the team Barcelona is facing, it's not not an Ac Milan or a PSG, I mean when you think about Barcelona and Munich aren't so far off in terms of talent, but overcoming this big of a deficit is impossible.

Normally there is no chance but playing at home, scoring 2 quick goals and everything can happen, although it's unlikely.
Yep, hope Real can get something out of it!
