I'd believe anything PH "said" over any of your "guesses", quitter.

He did play with the Spurs until Feb 2005 so he does deserve the ring.
So far, I know that he Is happy about the Spurs winning the Championship but at the same time he's deppressed he wasn't a part of It like he would had liked to be. :depressed

if Malik gets a ring it will not be the same ring as the players and coaches get. that ring is paid for by the league
the other rings that are handed out are paid for by the team and if Malik gets a ring it will be one of these lesser (organization funded) rings

I doubt an organization such as the Spurs would give him a "lesser" ring...

This is like the 10th thread on this subject. But to repeat, Pop said (during the season) that if the Spurs won a title that Malik would get a ring. In 2003 Anthony Goldwire got a ring and he wasn't on the Spurs at season's end. And yes, it was the regular ring that the other players received. So I guess unless Malik turns it down, he'll get a ring.

It still hasn't open yet from what I've seen. I'm not sure when it's going to be opened.

Because Malik has a big heart and truly deserved to be part of this championship.

I love Malik, but I don't think he should. Or at least he shouldn't accept it out of personal pride. But he could also see it as a nice gift, a token of appreciation for his contributions and for being a good sport about the trade.

It's just a commerative Ring anyway if anything with a nice letter of thanks I am sure. Everyone knows he didn't suit up in the playoff roster.

Romain didn't even play one regular season game for the Spurs. But if the Spurs want to give him a ring, they can.

Anyone got a nice photo of the 2005 Rings yet? Also a flashback to 99.03 would be nice.

Sure he should get a ring. He contributed more than other Spurs this season (ie T. Mass, S. Marks, Wilks, L. Johnson). The Spurs need to find a way to get him back. Maybe we could trade Rasho for him!!!
Malik definitely should get his ring. The guy didn't ask to be traded and has remained a class act, continuing to root for the Spurs. He played half the season and deserves it probably more than some who spent most of it as benchwarmers. In fact, I was kind of hoping he'd be at the rally Saturday, but I guess that wouldn't have been tactful.

Why would Malik get a ring? He is a knick. To bad, so sad.
Dude didn't even sell one cotton candy during the playoffs.
I call BS on this and if they give him a ring I am not getting season tickets.
