Peter Holt said he would, so Im guessing yes.
Is Malik rose going to receive a Championship ring since he played with the Spurs until Feb 2005?
Peter Holt said he would, so Im guessing yes.
Yeah Malik should be getting a ring.
And I think that Dion Glover as well
I sure hope so...
"Peter Holt said he would, so Im guessing yes."
I'd believe anything PH "said" over any of your "guesses", quitter.
Would Malik even want to accept it.
Who?
He did play with the Spurs until Feb 2005 so he does deserve the ring.
So far, I know that he Is happy about the Spurs winning the Championship but at the same time he's deppressed he wasn't a part of It like he would had liked to be.![]()
Did he attend any of the Finals Games?
if Malik gets a ring it will not be the same ring as the players and coaches get. that ring is paid for by the league
the other rings that are handed out are paid for by the team and if Malik gets a ring it will be one of these lesser (organization funded) rings
I doubt an organization such as the Spurs would give him a "lesser" ring...
This is like the 10th thread on this subject. But to repeat, Pop said (during the season) that if the Spurs won a le that Malik would get a ring. In 2003 Anthony Goldwire got a ring and he wasn't on the Spurs at season's end. And yes, it was the regular ring that the other players received. So I guess unless Malik turns it down, he'll get a ring.
he better not leave it out again! hahaha!
What about Romain Sato? He was a Spur until Feb, too.
Sorry, Kori.
I started this thread.
I'm just happy to hear that Malik Is also getting a ring.
Do you know If his new restaurant Is already open?
does anyone know why Malik's 1604 restaurant is no longer open?
I went by last week and it looked like it opened then closed.
It still hasn't open yet from what I've seen. I'm not sure when it's going to be opened.
Exactly....I dont' see why Rose would get a ring. But maybe its just me.
Because Malik has a big heart and truly deserved to be part of this championship.
I love Malik, but I don't think he should. Or at least he shouldn't accept it out of personal pride. But he could also see it as a nice gift, a token of appreciation for his contributions and for being a good sport about the trade.
It's just a commerative Ring anyway if anything with a nice letter of thanks I am sure. Everyone knows he didn't suit up in the playoff roster.
he contributed more than the III
Romain didn't even play one regular season game for the Spurs. But if the Spurs want to give him a ring, they can. What about Romain Sato? He was a Spur until Feb, too.
Anyone got a nice photo of the 2005 Rings yet? Also a flashback to 99.03 would be nice.
