The differences between AC1 and AC2 are night and day imo. I couldn't even finish AC 1 yet I loved AC 2. Still need to play Brotherhood and Revelations though, fuckers keep pumping these games out too fast.

That was the main reason why I didn't buy these games. I honestly got annoyed with the influx of AC games they were putting out.

I love these games. You can certainly enjoy the gameplay if you're new to the series, but the storyline may make little sense, even though it gives you a quickie recap at the beginning.

There are videos online that can fill in most of the gaps though.

I just redboxed it and I'm like 2.5 hours in, started off slow but it's starting to pick up. You start out as the British dude on a voyage to Boston, not as the half native American/Brit yet. I think that guy is his son.

Oh, the redcoats are assholes...they shove you away when you walk by them wtf

I did and that bitch was still Missing. She literally popped up out of nowhere in front of me like how buildings come out of nowhere in GTA. I think the game was glitching

Hmmm... yeah, I knew it was supposed to be a trilogy, I'm just not sure why they had to make three whole games dedicated to Ezio (even though he was a fun character). After that last part in ACII where you got to fight those dudes as Desmond, I've been waiting for a game that gave him more time and combat.

I guess I'll have to see how the rest of this game plays out. I don't think I'm even half way done yet.

A mate of mine was telling me how disappointed he was with it - he wasn't too far through it but said it wasn't as good as I or II, I've just bought II. I don't want to read much to spoil but is III definitely worth playing once I finish II

So far it's awesome. But play Brotherhood and Revelations before you start ACIII as they continue Desmond's storyline e.
