Splitter responded well, played hard in garbage time.

I'm hoping for a bounceback defensive performance.
Mission accomplished*
*Pacers kinda suck.

Nando can't keep throwing bricks if he wants to have a chance to crack the rotation.

Splitter-Blair didn't look so bad. Hopefully Pop gives that lineup more chances instead of going with Bonner all the damn time.

Can't remember where I mentioned it earlier, but during Timmy's rookie year the Spurs won six of their first seven, with the only loss being in double overtime to Jordan and the Bulls.

Jury's still out, but that Harden trade may really be bad for them.
Usually when you trade a top 25 player and don't get one back, it doesn't work out well for you. And Harden is better so far than even most of his proponents thought.
The Heat are significantly better than they were last year. And Ray Allen is ballin right now. It will take a major injury to one of their key players for them not to repeat tbh.
Hey, all you gotta do is make the dance. Then anything can happen.

Only if Nando was a better scorer.. His passing and creation is great. Hopefully Chip can work some magic into this shooting.

The Spurs look great. I can't wait for the SpursTalk meltdown when we lose @LAC.

loving Nando's vision. he definitely needs work, but his vision is instinctively good.

Yup, but that Jordan game was game 3 so they were 3-1 to start that year.
Only saw the second half but how the hell was this Pacers team up 2-1 on the Heat? It felt as if they played this game lazily...some of that has to do with that double OT game but still...

If Bonner guards Blake Griffin most of the game, then yes.

It seems like such a long when we held a team to 70-low 80s :') (eventhough the Pacers suck). It surely helps mentally the spurs. Oh and LOL the iron curtain. This madness can't sustain can it?

Does no one find it odd that Blair lashed out on Twitter, called Pop "dude" and got lot's of PT :lol? Maybe Pop respects Blair now.

Yes. That close to going 7-0 was my point.

Yes please, let it be some CIA Pop strategy to let other teams have a good look at Blair.

I find it odd that Blair got PT and started sharing the ball, which was really the knock on him all along.

I find it interesting. Maybe Blair is about to be traded? I remember He Who Must Not Be Named had a very good, complete game before he was traded for Jack. Blair had a damn good game today.
Maybe I'm just making stuff up.

No, it can't. This is the NBA, where many times being elite is not even enough. Take the Spurs, for example. They're widely regarded as the fourth best team in the league, yet you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks they have a legit shot at winning the championship. In the other three leagues, if you're fourth best, it would go without saying that you've got a legit shot.

After watching James go on his three point binge last year, I was pretty sure there was nobody that could beat him. He's got ankles just like everybody else. Anything can happen.

Oh they definitely have a legit shot. And frankly they should be ranked #2 right after Miami.

Tiago should post up on the low block, get the ball and then just punt it into the stands and walk off the court.

Paul Garcia PS @24writer (https://twitter.com/24writer) Coach Pop on his team: "They are realizing that if we don't get better defensively, we don't have a shot at being the last team standing."

I saw that on the post-game show. He also said that they are making more of an effort to close out on 3 point shooters...

Oops. LeBron just tore his acl. The Spurs still can't win? Makes no sense to say that teams at game 4 are going to be playoff ready with no injuries.

Chris Bosh was injured in game 1, and no bosh means turiaf/anthony/haslem/james/battier against hibbert/west/hansbrough.
Though miami did win that series due to the magnificent play of wade and james.

Good game and as much as I like Tiago I think Blairs effort was great an he helped that Timmy was able to rest the 4th quarter for the first time this season ... we need more of that.

Fair enough. I just presumed that it went without saying that I meant barring injury.
