Popovich goes from not playing splitter to playing him a lot
i wont complain but splitter will need rest
hes the most active player on the spurs roster
always moving and setting screens
fighting for rebounds/positioning
dont know if he has the conditioning yet to handle 35+ minutes

TP is supposed to penetrate and kick the ball out...that is/has been our game plan forever...but this front court, more than any other we play, can shut him down because they are so quick and so long they can block his shots and his passes. For us to win against this team, our outside shooters have to be hitting. They aren't tonight, just like they weren't last year in the WCF. Add porous defense to that and it is amazing that we are doing as well as we are.

Still, think about with DeColo maturing, Splitter continuing to develop well, and Leanard back (maybe before next May?), and we are in nice shape for the end of the season run.

But we still have to figure a way to defend these guys better. So far, nothing doing.

Parker's been part of the reason for the Spurs last few losses. The Spurs just can't out score the other team when Parker's on the court.

I love how all theses OKC reporters are so cocky, they've had an amazingly easy schedule, and will get their asses handed to them if they make the finals. Can't wait :toast

their length and athleticism on the perimeter allows them to defend the Spurs better than any team in the league. They're a tougher matchup than MIA even without Harden.

Can't complain too much so far. Just really frustrating when Ibaka always shoots like Nash from the floor against us.

Hopefully the Spurs can find enough offensive firepower to keep up.

Can't afford a bad game from Neal right now.

But I'd say that the Raptors are basically the Eastern version of the LAL as far as playoff odds go.
