I wonder if maybe Manu and Diaw can take some minutes at the 3 with Jax out.
Diaw can play the 3 in spot mins and manu can hold his own just hate seeing green playing SF hopefully pop figures out something.

Yeah. I don't want Green at the 3 either if Pop can help it. Assuming Kawhi gets a bump in minutes those guys should be okay playing here and there.

Of the 6 or 7 contenders games, we won the season opener with a comeback from hell/buzzer beater and the GRizz game with a comeback from hell in OT when they were on the end of a back to back....
Other ones were beatdowns...

When Novak steals the ball, you know something's wrong.
Becoming less and less of a Gary Neal fan. Dude has hit some big shots, sure...but he is a terrible ballhandler, an even worse defender, and thinks his green-light to shoot gives him a license to chuck.

This was disappointing though. I had expected this one to be closer.
The FO needs to find a back-up point guard soon.

We've got 4.... Shouldn't we at least develop one of them?

Neal and Mills aren't point guards so that's down 2.
CoJo is better but he's not polished enough to contribute when it matters.
De Colo can't seem to produce without Splitter and for some reason Pop's not playing them together. So we're down again.
So really there's just De Colo (who has potential and little else at this point). If the Spurs don't plan to play him then they need to move for a back-up point at the deadline. I'll take a D-League big and roll with the other 3 to keep Bonner out of rotation.

De Colo has good decision instincts, something Neal is incapable of... De Colo also can hit the 3pt but he's smart enough to not rely on it... first Splitter behind Blair and Bonner, now De Colo behind Neal... I hope De Colo gets his opportunity somewhere, somehow

De Colo plays too much with Manu though. The only way to get him minutes would be to start Manu, have Green come off the bench with De Colo, and play Splitter with the bench unit the whole time he's out there. Dunno if those changes should be made to accommodate a player like him tbh but if the alternative is Manu or Neal playing point Pop may have to consider it.

:lmao at Tim talking to the media.
"What do you have to do turn things around?"
TD: "Turn what around? We lost a game. It's the middle of the season; it happens. We'll move on to the next game, hopefully get our legs underneath us, and move on."
"You think you guys are playing flat?"
TD: "Well, we just won six in a row then lost a game. I think we'll be alright."
Pop is rubbing off on Tim. :lol

the best I've seen from him was without Manu, though, playing like a real PG... it's a perfect fit for Splitter who's already turning into a no-stats player with the lack of good PG play
