If you haven't tried Dripping Springs, I highly recommend it. It's actually distilled 20 times to Tito's 7. Pure and smooth as water.

funny that you mentioned it. i met some canadian guy and the first thing he asked me was about titos and he had it once and that it was some sort of religious experience for him lol.

it's really novel because it's made from corn. :tu

I've tried Deep Eddy and it was good, but Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka is not nearly as smooth and delicious as Firefly. I really LOVE Firefly. :toast

Pfffff, McCormick's all the way. Any booze with an Irish sounding name's got to be good.

Yeah, it's pretty terrible even by college party booze standards. You know something's bad when even the drunkest of alcoholic skanks my roomates would invite turned their noses up at it.

In truth I've had Tito's. Never been much of a vodka drinker but it's probably the best I can remember.

X2........the more its distilled, the smoother it is. I had an asian vodka that was distilled so many times, it literally tasted like water. Thats why I was twisted for 2 solid days.

Heaven Hill is the straight up homeless gutter vodka. I think it was never distilled. Tastes like straight up paint thinner.

That sucks. I was at twin liquors and Dripping springs was pretty inexpensive so I assumed that it was cheap vodka. I ended up deciding to try Svedka. Because it was twin liquors, I bought two bottles. Svedka isn't bad, but it isn't good, I would have rather had Dripping Springs if it was that good.

Only if you are talking about whiskey. Also, don't buy liquor from a seasoning company.

I tried Tito's for the first time a few years ago. My buddy was in his last year of law school so we went to visit him in Houston. We stopped by a liquor store and were checking out the vodkas. This old dude told us to try out Tito's. It was like $20 for a 1.75er. I'm not a vodka drinker but I thought it was pretty good and since it was/is Texas made I usually go with it. It's more than doubled in price now though.

Screw that! I'll start drinking Stoli when they start catering to my tastes but for now there's no other way to get my drink on with a hint of dill and taragon.

I don't get this. What's the point of psying $20-$30 for a bottle of liquor that has no flavor? A nice bottle of tequila like Herradura or Don Julio reposado has a pretty distinctive flavor, and thus I can see why someone would spend $40-$60 on it. Or Grand Marnier which is fucking awesome either to drink or cook with. But a vodka that tastes like water? I guess it's an improvement from any vodka I have ever had in that case, but still, why not just buy everclear if you want something neutral to get fucked up on.

Everclear is about as neutral as liquid sandpapaer.

works well mixing hard apple cider with any swill beer. It gives you a completely different type of "cloudy" buzz and it takes no time at all. It's called a snakebite.

Crater Lake Reserve Vodka

We have always felt that our Crater Lake Vodka – crafted with pure Cascade Mountain water and filtered 10 times through charcoal and crushed lava rock – produced one of the smoothest vodkas in the world. That was before Batch #333.

Mistakenly left to filter over 100 times, the result was an extraordinary vodka with a purity and smoothness that surprised even us. Today we celebrate this happy accident with our limited release Crater Lake Reserve Vodka, an exquisite vodka for the true aficionado, unmatched in purity and smoothness.

I think DS is smoother, but my girl thinks Tito's is smoother. DS is distilled more times so I would imagine it was cleaner but who knows, to each their own.
