Good win, son. Just hope we didn't lose Manu in the process. :depressed
He'll be alright. Besides, it gives Pop a chance to fuck with the Heat again.

He walked off the court so that's a plus no matter what. Good win good win.
Up next, bring on the Heat tbh. :toast

The suspense was what made that shot so great. Hanging in the air, bouncing off the glass after it hit the side of the rim....

Did Shaq or Russell ever make a fadeaway jumpshot to win a game?
No?
Timmy's done it many times.
Basically, Duncan kills Russell on offense and kills Shaq on defense...so yes, he's better than both.
And in his best years, he was one of the most complete players ever. More so than Shaq or Russell.
LOL dont waste your time. It is highly unlikely he'll show his face around this part after all the stupid shit he said in here that backfired real quick. :lol
CP owns the spurs he says. :lol

But seriously, I curse the day Tim Duncan retires.

You know who deserves a lot of credit on the game-winning play?
It's that guy Kawhi, he set the pin-down screen for Tim and took a Shaq Russell Jordan shot to the chest. There's a chance Jordan could have blocked the shot, even if a foul was called.

If he had Duncan's brain he would be the next Shaq/Russell. He has some of the most impressive physical tools and athleticism of any big in NBA history. Problem is he's dumb as hell.
LOL Russell.. All time great player and insanely overrated all wrapped into one. He played on the most stacked team in an era where there were once 8 teams total in the entire league.. You take Duncan, Shaq, Robinson, Hakeem and put them on those Celts teams.. They all win 10 or 11 rings..

Tim Duncan...how old is he again?
BG is basically useless outside the painted area as Jordan in the free throw :lol

Reminded me of that Durant game winner against Dallas.

This has to build the confidence to all the players.. We need it for the games against Miami, Memphis and OKC. :flag:

We needed that bigtime! I think the Spurs only had two buckets in like 7 mins and were doing what they do at the end of games and choking it away with the other team chipping away on our lead and only to take it a moment later! The Spurs have to get over that habit of stagnant offense late! They look lost and too much ISO and the other team gets back in it. Tim showed up when nobody else did! That shot and WIN was huge.
Duncan has been amazing this season...just inspirational.
One last thing, since it has to be said....Pop completely changed the game when he started hack-a-Jordan in the 3rd....completely played mind games with Vinny there.

Put your big boy pants on and get over your butthurtness, didn't you say you're a geriatric? You should have more maturity than you're displaying. :lol
You're insane. Where out of me agreeing with you did you get that I was butthurt? Sheesh.

Yah alright, just reread and I was totally off base there. I read the "WINE" in your "Very valid point. Call Pop @ 210-789-WINE," as "WHINE," and thought you were carrying on the little 'bit' we had running yesterday, so I thought I was just playing along. Seemed a weird place to choose to fire it back up, but I was seeing red after that first half so obviously I was totally off based. No hard feelings, I quite like you as a poster

Yeah and Wilt was better than Russell IMO.. Yet people gave him shit for not winning more rings playing basically by himself until much much later in his career..

Russell had Cousey, Havlicek, the Jones brothers et al. Who did Chamberlain have when he was taking them to game 7 time and again? When Chamberlain got Cunningham and Greer he beat the Celtics.
Russell was overrated. You put Lucas or Thurmond on those teams and they do just as well.
