i think this is a likely loss, the nuggets are deadly at home and we have been in a real funk.
i'll be happy if we keep it respectable and don't get blown out.

But there is no Lawson/Dino tonight? In which case it would be a big disappointment if the Spurs drop it assuming Parker plays.

Seeing as they have the best home record in the NBA at 35-3, I don't see it being a "big disappointment" if we are not able to get the W. We are without Manu, Diaw and Jack as well.

It would be nice to see the real Spurs show up in these last 5 games.

oh look a Duncan vs Kobe argument going as expected on ESPN
duncan is great blah blah blah but imma have to go with Kobe
such a warrior :cry
Simmons the only one who took Duncan and Magic actually believes in his AIDs mind that everyone is afraid of the Lakers and theyll beat SA in round 1
omg Magic is legitimately retarded
"Duncan should probably be on top 10 all time lists"
Harry Callahan
04-10-2013, 07:14 PM
Mr. Magic also said Bryant more than Shaq was responsible for those first three titles - are you kidding me? Please. When you have a Laker Fan (actor Anthony Anderson), a Laker player, Jalen Rose, and Bill Simmons on a panel, the IQ is low and the Laker love high. Simmons was the only one displaying rational thought - the other three needed to be dressed like Laker Girls. I think Magic's son would like to dress like a Laker Girl if he could fit in the outfit.
The panel also threw out the "Kobe doesn't take games off" garbage. Kobe didn't have to grind it out against Shaq, Karl Malone, Kevin Garnett, etc. The Spurs have NEVER missed the playoffs in the Duncan era and Kobe's Laker teams will miss the playoffs at least once and maybe twice.
The Spurs would also have 5-6 championships the Lakers four if they had received the "help" LA received in their playoff runs.

Gonna prolly miss the game tonight. Hopefully we see the Spurs start to emerge from their funk. Denver may be injury-depleted, but they're still the toughest team to beat at home. A Spurs win would be huge.

Neal has a bit of Bonner in him, meaning that if he's not hitting the 3, he's not doing much of anything. I didn't watch much of the last game, but against OKC I remember just saying over and over Neal, what are you doing, as Fisher kept raining 3s. Granted, Fisher hasn't been good all year in Dallas and OKC, but if he hits a shot or two, don't sag in off of him.

Manu is the benchPERIOD

The spurs team on the floor right now is pretty disastrous.

Everyone on this team is a fukin joke except for duncan
Since the ignore function doesn't work so well in game threads, would you mind refraining from posting? Your takes are annoyingly shitty.

NANDO >>>>>>>>>>>>> COJO, PER PAR. Not even close. Cojo is stinking up the joint, tbh.
Pretty bad offensive performance aside from Timmy's greatness, though the defense is in beast mode.
And LOL at our favorite Hero. :lol

Cory refuses to dribble towards the rim and force the issue. He's conservatively conservative. I'm getting more annoyed at his passiveness than Diaws.

That CoJo, Neal, and Mills lineup is extremely small and horrible. But what do you expect Pop to do with no Tony, no Manu, and no Jack. That and De Colo, Green, Kawhi all damn near played the whole 1st qtr...
timtonymanu
04-10-2013, 10:08 PM
Kawhi needs to be more productive than he was in that quarter since he's the only Spur other than Timmy that doesn't have a soft mentality.

Parker was helping him with his game.. "dribble left and then right and then force up a 3 or a shitty jumper"

If we avoid fastbreaks yes, yes we can. They are an awful jumpshooting team.

In Joseph's defense.....what the hell can you do with Neal to your left and Mills to your right, Bonner being Bonner, and Blair being Blair?
Parker was helping him with his game.. "dribble left and then right and then force up a 3 or a shitty jumper"
If he would do that and then shoot at above a 50% rate, as Parker does, I'd say great.

he looked like he was getting frustrated with either Mills or Heroball. but you are right, he's way too passive at times, just like Diaw.
