The dumbass shouldn't have played for Argentina last summer. God, I hate international ball. Does nothing but tire out our international players.
I don't think his poor decisions have anything to do with playing for the Argies. I think it's more that his body can't do what his brain wants it to any more.

Grizzlies are gonna go on a run at some point, but hopefully the Spurs continue to stay aggressive and Neal needs to not play so much. :lol
Grizzlies will go on a run, but it won't be like a Warriors run. Grizzlies don't have near the offense that the Warriors have. If the Spurs keep up their offense, Spurs win this game.

Yes, and his body is exhausted from playing year round ball. He should have done the honorable thing and retired from international ball a long time ago like Timmy and saved his body for the team that actually pays his salary.

If they're scoring I'm fine with it. We're not playing Golden State anymore, Memphis won't match the Spurs offensive output if they continue to score really well. This is the only series where I'm fine with Pop and the players putting a bigger emphasis on offense than defense.

Bonner defends ZBo as well as any big on our team besides Timmy, who seems to block every shot he tries to put up. Zbo can't punish Bonner athletically, and Bonner is a very fundamentlaly sound defender tbh. He forces Zach into tough shots in uncomfortable positions. He's absolutely perfect for this series because they don't have a big man that can stick Matt

Good first half overall, though the Spurs should probably have a larger lead right now. I didn't like the last couple of minutes that much, though. The Spurs got a bit sloppy on both ends of the floor.

Tiago would be closing out on Marc better than Tim and that has been Memphis main offense. No reason for him to play 7 less minutes than Duncan unless Pop was worried about him picking up his 3rd foul.

Atleast we don't have to worry about the opposition being hot in a minute tbh. Warriors were scary in comebacks. I think Spurs can hold their own against the Grizz' comeback later.
HarlemHeat37
05-19-2013, 03:36 PM
Duncan should be guarding Randolph all game, tbh..
Gasol will have an easier time scoring in the post against the other bigs, but the Spurs should be fine with making Gasol a scorer..his post game is just slightly above average, tbh..

I don't much care if the refs favor one team over the other, or certain players over others. I just want consistency. Either call it loose or call it tight, regardless of what is happening or what the score is.

Tim looked a little less than tenacious in the 1st half, hopefully he's just saving some juice for this 3rd quarter an the last half of the 4th. Splitter didnt have to play too many minutes and was able to stay at 2 fouls because of it so he should be good for the 2nd half. If Manu can step it up, Green step it up, and Kawhi start getting to some balls and causing havoc it'll be a great look for the 2nd half.

Not even close to the worst half, they hit jump shots they don't usually make much of in a game. They shot the ball well and are still down, if the Spurs can keep making them shoot jumpers (but contest them) they will be missing their share then it just becomes hit the defensive boards

To be fair, the threes they were hitting were so wide open. Guards/forwards getting the ball in the lane and kicking it out has given such open looks that a good NBA shooter should knock them down more times than not.
