I'm still waiting for Jalen Rose to say something intelligent tonight. I basically disagree with everything hes said all night.
Rose is a dumb-ass, who believes he knows-it-all. He brings down every broadcast he's a part of.

This has to be a signal the Spurs value cap space. This guy isn't even a great prospect from what I've read and there were some pretty decent prospects left. If you value cap space more than anything, you take the best stash you can find and that changes the rankings on your board.
That's why I wanted Boris to opt out. That extra 4M in cap space could have been big.
Livio is playing for TP's team so they can monitor him extremly easily.
And Mahinmi too.

Jean-Charles is a really good kid but I don't really see him as something special. Let's hope I'm wrong on that.
Something else about that pick is that it's a stashed pick. It would mean Spurs are planing on being very active through free agency and want all their cap space.

Good athlete? Did you watch the film? Dude has no upside. Awful pick.

Will Charles be able to play summer ball for the Spurs?
Bruno

If Spurs want to draft all french, they could go with Jordan Aboudou or Joffrey Lauvergne at #58. Both would be decent draft and stash picks with Lauvergne being the better one.
I'm saying that because Spurs seems obsessed with french players: Parker, Diaw, Mahinmi, De Colo and now Jean-Charles. They also have been linked more or less strongly with Batum, Gelabale, Turiaf or Pietrus. That's crazy.

Spurs picks have been horrible these past few years
George Hill was the only solid pick but that draft was so solid
if Hill wasnt picked then guys like Batum, Pekovic, Darrel Arthur, Mario Chalmers, DeAndre Jordan, Asik, Mbah a Moute, and Dragic would still be on the board
people who get their hopes up on free agents signing are gonna be as disappointed as when we lost the Finals tbh

Well, wait and see time for what the Spurs actually do. I wonder when they will make a decision on Bonner? Will they eat that 1M and amnesty him or do they just waive him? Trade him? Lot's of options, but really the only way to fee up their cap space besides not brining back Neal/Blair and trade De Colo/Mills.

Some uncertainty with this finals loss: Assistant coaches have been picked bone dry, lots of FA's with serious financial questions and a draft that in the moment will not help.
Let's go off season, make it happen.

A glorified Lakers tbh
not worried about them
but a Lopez/Garnett frontcourt can shit on Miami
Garnett can cover Lopez defensive flaws and provide the spacing they didnt have
going from Evans/Wallace to Pierce should make them a 2nd seed
just dont see them having the juice to win a title
too many TOSBs
