For such a crappy draft, there is going to be some good second round value. Spurs should try to trade up.

You're an idiot. Aren't you?

While I cannot answer as to whether Freetiagoe is an idiot or not, I can tell you that the Spurs did NOT draft Kawhi. We traded George Hill to Indiana for Kawhi later in the evening, after Indiana had drafted him.

Spurs told Pacers to draft Kawhi for the deal to be accomplished.

It's hilarious that the media even considers Parker/Ginobili second option calibre players. These two were always third option talent that benefited greatly from playing in the Spurs system.

It's hilarious that you don't understand that 3rd tier/option players never get selected to All NBA teams, system or no system.

I think it's mostly his offensive limitations. People want guards who can shoot. His attitude is better than a lot of guys, he's driven and a hard worker even if a bit of a headcase.

Chad Ford likes our first-round pick...

Livio Jean-Charles was the breakout star at the Nike Hoop Summit. Jean-Charles exploded with 27 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. He clearly was the MVP of the World Team, doing the little things that impresses scouts all week. He's long, athletic, has a nose for the ball and can score both inside and on the midrange jumper. Spurs think he'll spend another year in France before he comes to the NBA. A nice pick here.
