That's basically what Kobe & Nash tried with Howard. Not physically beat like one would do with the wife & kids, but, spiritually just beat the livin' daylites out of Howard getting him to see the light. For crying out loud, Lee, give Kobe a chance to fall off before you insist on a pay cut. He could return to 25/5/5 as not. If he can't get back to where he was, or, the injury keeps him out for an extended period he'll adjust in negotiations.
