I mean it's been a terrible offseason so far.

First, they were rooting their little hearts out for the Spurs to stop the Bron from ringing, poor things. And then when 28 happened, they knew it was over. Now, bringing up 28 in an argument makes you fools look silly. It's not a constant reminder that the Spurs lost, it's a constant reminder Bron might not have ever tied Kobe if he had lost..But now he's gonna surpass him, so bring up 28 all you want (Not a spursfan btw, I just think the is funny)

Second, I don't even really need to explain it.

Lawd have mercii!!!! If you can, pour one out for these salty s. It's been a rough couple of weeks, no doubt.

It will be swept under the rug faster than the Lakers were swept out of the first round. In the franchise's great history, there are numerous piles of fecal matter discarded from the memory of all but the most adamant Laker haters.

They spent an entire season lambasting Howard for every single loss they took, then beg him to stay, then wonder why he doesn't stay. Unsurprising from Lakers fans.

Ya ever here of TOUGH LOVE, Cry? It's where your kids, or, wife act up and you just beat the livin' daylites out of 'em and it makes them better kids and wife. That's basically what Kobe & Nash tried with Howard. Not physically beat like one would do with the wife & kids, but, spiritually just beat the livin' daylites out of Howard getting him to see the light. Like in the old days when somebody would go nutty nuts, they'd try insulin therapy, shoot 'em fully of insulin tie them to a bed of ice water and then leave 'em alone for a while to get in touch with their good side.

I never did understand how those chaps in LA can lambast a player for the various things he does then beg the ol' sport to stay. Perhaps they suffer from a bit of the bipolar disorder, no?

also the contrast between Kobe and Dwight is hilarious. Kobe refuses to take a paycut and will probably seek a maximum extension (lol paying 40 million for old Kobe) while Dwight takes a paycut to give himself the best chance to win les with Harden and Howard is the loser

For crying out loud, Lee, give Kobe a chance to fall off before you insist on a pay cut. He could return to 25/5/5 as not. If he can't get back to where he was, or, the injury keeps him out for an extended period he'll adjust in negotiations.

Quit looking for a booger under the bed just because you're still suffering. Don't make me ashamed of ya.

25/5/3 is not worth 30 million, let alone 41.6 (what Kobe would make at the end of a max extension)
