It looked bad... he was limping all the way to the locker room, and he fell to the ground and stayed there.

btw air balled a free throw before he left (looks like he didn't get enough lift from his knees)

He should take a month off anyways, Spurs will remain a top 3 seed without him, tbh..

He misses a handful of games every year, regardless. Not exactly Nostradamus.

Meanwhile those HGH taking POS LeRoid and DHGHade remain healthy as can be. I'm tired of seeing the wrong players go down. The great thunderup summons the basketball gods to do their work for all that is holy.

Shut your mouth! It was a knee to knee contusion, and Tony had the smaller knee... I watched the game from the Clippers broadcast and they replayed it multiple times... He'll hopefully be back in a week or so (hoping it is not a patella's fracture)

Wasn't faking it then. Just exaggerating a small injury, Kobe-style, so he could look like a :crywarrior:cry afterwards and get all the credit in case the Spurs won.

if it's nothing to serious and he can come back 100% itd be a blessing in disguise tbh

he cant play at a high level throughout the season + POs after playing during the summer, this injury gives him a mini break, otherwise he'll prolly be gassed/limping come playoff time

Parker said yesterday in his radio show just before the Clippers game that it was actually physically tough for him after his busy year and that he was focused on being at 100% for the playoffs.

His injury doesn't seem bad or tiredness related, but I would be all for Pop/Spurs being extra cautious regarding it. Shutting him down for the rest of this road trip and sending him back to San Antonio would be a good idea.

Damn, I got tickets too hoping I can get to watch him beat the snot out of the run and gun 2.0 Suns on Wed.
I guess 5 three pointers from Patty Mills will be a good consolation.

Tony Parker will miss San Antonio’s next two games, at Phoenix on 12/18 and at Golden State on 12/19, due to a right shin contusion. He suffered the injury in the second half of Monday night's Spurs-Clippers game. Parker will be reevaluated when the team returns to San Antonio at which point his status for Saturday night's Spurs-Thunder game will be determined.

He'll be fine. The spurs need to be extra cautious with tony since this team can't run for shit without him..I'd rest him the rest of december tbh....

Coincidence? Last time the Spurs played LAC, Ginobili was taken out by an illegal screen with a serious thigh contusion.
1st time they play this season and what do we see...Parker was taken out by an illegal screen with a serious shin contusion.

2013 Manu all over again - Missing lots of regular season games when he should have taken the summer off and rested his body. The last two years, you could legitimately argue that TP was the best point guard in the league. This year, Parker doesn't even look like a top five point. Scoring is down, efficiency is down, assist percentage has dropped. He's basically regressed to 2011 Parker.

Look for Manu to pick up some of the scoring load, he will probably have a 20 point game while Parker is out imo

Agreed! Those steroid bastards need to be checked! There is no way they are so big bulked up without steroids! I would love to see them go down!
