Yeah, it looked serious.
It looked bad... he was limping all the way to the locker room, and he fell to the ground and stayed there.
btw air balled a free throw before he left (looks like he didn't get enough lift from his knees)
Yeah, it looked serious.
A lot of us predicted it... Injury waiting to happen after playing all summer.
Just ing GOD damn ing great..... Thats just what we needed now.
He should take a month off anyways, Spurs will remain a top 3 seed without him, tbh..
Faking it just like the Finals I bet.
He misses a handful of games every year, regardless. Not exactly Nostradamus.
Saying right shin contusion...
Your fault you started game thread.
Meanwhile those HGH taking POS LeRoid and DHGHade remain healthy as can be. I'm tired of seeing the wrong players go down. The great thunderup summons the basketball gods to do their work for all that is holy.
just relaying what the LAC announcers were saying and the replays showing
update: bruised shin
Thank you basketball gods![]()
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS........... WHEWWWWWWWWWWW.
Who cares? Spurs can only beat teams anyways.
I fear it could be a career-ender.![]()
Was scared it was his meniscus, kinda reminded me of what happened to rose
Shut your mouth! It was a knee to knee contusion, and Tony had the smaller knee... I watched the game from the Clippers broadcast and they replayed it multiple times... He'll hopefully be back in a week or so (hoping it is not a patella's fracture)

Wasn't faking it then. Just exaggerating a small injury, Kobe-style, so he could look like awarrior
afterwards and get all the credit in case the Spurs won.
if it's nothing to serious and he can come back 100% itd be a blessing in disguise tbh
he cant play at a high level throughout the season + POs after playing during the summer, this injury gives him a mini break, otherwise he'll prolly be gassed/limping come playoff time
Exactly. We are done. Thanks Manu for blowing out the candle in the final Finals....
Faking. Exaggerating. Sammy same.
Parker said yesterday in his radio show just before the Clippers game that it was actually physically tough for him after his busy year and that he was focused on being at 100% for the playoffs.
His injury doesn't seem bad or tiredness related, but I would be all for Pop/Spurs being extra cautious regarding it. Shutting him down for the rest of this road trip and sending him back to San Antonio would be a good idea.
Damn, I got tickets too hoping I can get to watch him beat the snot out of the run and gun 2.0 Suns on Wed.
I guess 5 three pointers from Patty Mills will be a good consolation.
