As I've been saying all year, the only teams that can beat Denver are teams that have weapons to exploit the Broncos' weak secondary + a QB that can put up points, tbh..

Seattle doesn't have any weapons and their QB is a average..I also expect the refs to call a fair game, which doesn't work to the advantage of Seattle's defense..

Broncos should win comfortably, tbh..

Horrible matchup for the Seahawks if you think about it. They have only played one great passing offense this year (New Orleans), and even that team has only one serious receiving threat in Jimmy Graham. Those matchups were at home too, where holding and DPI aren't called. Furthermore, Denver's rush D is pretty damn good, so RW will be forced to beat them on a neutral field. Yikes. Manning is going to audible these junglebunnies to death

spurraider21

I love Peyton Manning, and I'm a big Wilson fan, but I can't see myself pulling for the Broncos. They should be favored on a neutral field though. The only real chance Seattle has is if Percy Harvin can make some kind of impact. If your best weapon is Doug Baldwin, you aren't going to stand a good chance :lol

We will need Percy for sure. Although the conditions may play a factor. Any Denver fan, or Seattle hater should pray for clear conditions.

One of the worst Super Bowls coming up.

How so? Two 13-3 teams facing off. One is the #1 overall offense in the league, and the other is the #1 overall defense in the league. Peyton Manning and a high powered offense against a physical, trash talking defense.

Sounds like a pretty good matchup to me.

Part of me wants Manning's legacy to be validated with another ring, other part says fuck the geezer. A week ago I would've clearly rooted for Seattle just to see a new team win it, but after seeing Wilson today I'm not too sure.

Ideally both teams would lose tbh.

Nah, Manning will get most of the love these next 2 weeks because

1. The game is not in Seattle, so that cuts the interest in the Seahawks immediately in half w/o all the fake fan fellating
2. Team Leader Lynch is quiet and reserved during interviews
3. Only other person of interest on Seattle is an amphetamine freak with a liberal arts degree

2 Scenarios

1) The media would continue to slurp Wilson off. He's a black guy that white America can get behind
2) They'd say "BEAST MODE" about 50 times an hour if Lynch manages to win superbowl MVP.

Tbh, I wouldn't even mind if Manning won. Rather him over Brady. This whole Superbowl is gravy to me.

Wilson appeals to the majority of NFL fans outside of the SpursTalk culture, tbh..especially when CBS begins the Wilson hype machine to appeal to the network's demographic of 50+ year old White people..

Kaepernick would have been a tough sell..he's covered in tats, he looks like a Middle Eastern Black man, he's a flashy nigga that flosses on Instagram, he's cocky, etc..Wilson is the opposite in every way, including being married at a young age..

It cracks me everytime people try to predict who wins. Football is about which team makes mistakes and gets capitalized on. Today, Manning had a bad snap and was fumbling the ball in his hands before he threw it for a 15 yard gain. Had he dropped it and NE recovered, it could have been an entirely different game.

Unfortunately, the NFL is fuckin unpredictable, however I do like our chances more against Seahawks than 9ers. 49ers just had that cocky Wildcard 'nothing to lose' attitude, and no way they'd lose back to back superbowls.

Also, as annoying as Sherman is, he's not half as annoying as seeing Harbraugh cry on the sidelines every fucking play like a D-league coach.

I would like the fans in Seattle to have a ring-winning team, but I just can't see them beating the Broncos at this time. Had the Super Bowl been played 3 months ago, it'd be no contest that the Seahawks would thrash them and then some. But, with the way the teams are playing now, the Broncos are just competing better and are a more complete team, even if the Seahawks defense will dish up Peyton a long, painful time on offense, he'll still make clutch 3rd and longs at the end of the game to win by a small margin.

Last year Ray Lewis won a ring and retired, Peyton could very well do the same here to make for another classic NFL moment.

If it is windy, Russel Wilson relies on running around and chucking it in the air, he's not exactly great at intermediate passing. Windy could be bad for him as well, then niggas could focus more on Lynch.

To take the NFL's side here, they scheduled this game in New York because they WANTED a Super Bowl in winter elements. The fact that this has been a harsher winter than in recent years is just a feather in their cap. This is what they wanted. This isn't like the 2011 Super Bowl in Dallas where it decided to snow all over Texas for the first time since the 1980s, but at least Jerryworld is indoors.

See, that's just fucking asinine, pardon my French. This is the LAST game anyone should want to be affected by the weather. This is a championship game- it demands good conditions, a fast track and an opportunity for the players to perform to the best of their abilities and for the coaches to use their entire playbooks without being concerned about how the weather is going to affect their gameplans.

I think people tend to over-romanticize cold-weather football. Who wants to see a championship game turned into a mess of punts, turnovers and dropped passes? I'm only rooting for terrible weather just so the NFL can learn its lesson about scheduling a Super Bowl outdoors in the North.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you. The Super Bowl should be rotated between the California and Florida stadiums (except Jacksonville), mix in New Orleans and Arizona occasionally and if you want a cold weather city to do the Super Bowl, make sure they have a roof on their shit like Indianapolis. But I'm pretty sure I heard Goodell say he wanted the Super Bowl in NY to have a championship game in winter elements. And of course if you spend a billion dollars on your stadium like Jerry Jones did that's probably worth a Super Bowl hosting. So, warm weather coastal cities, New Orleans, Arizona, Indy for cold weather and brand new stadiums only. Seems like a solid rotation.

how about a qb better than mark fucking brunell :lmao

Mark Brunell would be the best Browns quarterback in the last quarter-century at least. We still worship Bernie Kosar for God's sake. :lol

As for the rest of you crybabies, my team (a storied franchise with a championship pedigree) left town, won two Super Bowls and was replaced by the new-school version of the '70s Saints/'80s Buccaneers, only cleverly disguised as the "Browns." So I win. Or I lose. Or something.

What's the over-under for plays he has before is doubtful for the game? Does he serve a Reggie Bush-esque decoy in the game?

I think he plays the whole game, but isn't overly involved. Probably 35% of the snaps. I think he'll be used primarily to create space. So yes, a little bush-esque :lol

I have a worry that's he's going to feel obligated and play too hard and make a mistake. Like trying to stretch a 9.5 yard reception into a 11 yard reception and be hit and lose the ball. I do think Marshawn will benefit most for Harvin being there as he'll make someone cover him and that could be key in the run game.

I love Peyton Manning, and I'm a big Wilson fan, but I can't see myself pulling for the Broncos. They should be favored on a neutral field though. The only real chance Seattle has is if Percy Harvin can make some kind of impact. If your best weapon is Doug Baldwin, you aren't going to stand a good chance :lol

good luck

I think all of the players are at risk with this issue. It is the SB, we're a young team, and they're thinking about living the dream. Being the guy who broke one, and swayed the game in their favor. He always tends to go for the extra yard, that is his nature it seems. Play makers make mistakes, it's just inherent. But, I think we'll be fine. I actually think he may make a big play for us. But I am cautiously optimistic.

Look at that above shit, are you little fucks for real?

Ok....

It's looking like the weather (could change) won't be some major factor, so it comes down to the greatest QB in history (debatable) vs a second year guy. Total mismatch. So it will come down to that Seattle pass rush.....yep...that is the key to this game. If Peyton has time to survey the field picking and choosing receivers it;'s all over. It won't matter what that Seahawk o does, they aren't built to win a shoot out. The first quarter will tell us all we need to know.

Here's a look at 10 of the most ridiculous Super Bowl prop bets being offered by Bovada (http://sports.bovada.lv/sports-betting/football-player-props.jsp) for tonight's big game:

1. If Renée Fleming wears gloves when she starts singing the national anthem, what color will they be?
White (+275)
Black (EVEN)
Red (+500)
Any other color (+300)
Advice: Having never been to the opera, I'm not remotely qualified to predict the glove color preference of a celebrated soprano. My only point of reference on this one is that scene in "Pretty Woman" where Richard Gere takes Julia Roberts to the opera and she almost pees her pants. Julia wore white gloves (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-modccum70s8/TtHddwXxXJI/AAAAAAAAEZg/jLl6yqtq1CU/s1600/Pretty%2BWoman%2BOpera%2BScene%2BLa%2BTraviata%2B4 .png), and Julia wouldn't lead me astray. Go ahead and put your money on white (but if I'm wrong, please direct all angry e-mails to Julia Roberts).

2. Will Knowshon Moreno cry during the singing of the national anthem?
Yes (+135)
No (-175)
Advice: This guy must be half-sprinkler (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PW8IipJsR6c). I mean, I've seen water main breaks that produced less fluid. That said, I expect Moreno to succumb to performance anxiety here. Knowing that millions of people are watching intently to see if you cry kinda spoils the mood.

3. How many times will Eli Manning be shown on TV during the game?
Over 1 1/2 (-200)
Under 1 1/2 (+150)
Advice: Over. Way over. If Peyton Manning leads the Broncos to a win over the Seahawks, he'll tie little brother Eli with two Super Bowl titles. That storyline alone is worth at least a couple shots of Eli hanging out in a luxury suite. And if DirectTV runs a follow-up to "Football on your Phone," (http://www.youtube.com/v/jn5zytfm9No) this one won't even be close.

4. Who will be seen first on TV after kickoff?
Erin Andrews (-140)
Pam Oliver (EVEN)
Advice: Which one would you put on camera first? Yep. Me, too. Just sayin'.

5. How many times will Peyton Manning say "Omaha" during the game?
Over 27 1/2 (-150)
Under 27 1/2 (+110)
Advice: This over/under seems like a lot until you consider that Manning name-dropped Nebraska's largest city 44 times during the Broncos' divisional playoff win over the Chargers (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000312696/article/peyton-manning-and-omaha-a-love-story). Plus, Peyton is like the king of marketing. This is the guy who's so close to Papa John that he just calls him Papa (http://videos.nj.com/nj/2014/01/super_bowl_2014_goofy_manning.html). Is there any doubt he plans to parlay this into a sponsorship deal with Omaha Steaks?

6. Will any member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers be shirtless during their performance?
Yes (-250)
No (+170)
Advice: Ummm ... does Flea even own a shirt?

7. Will Percy Harvin be injured in the game?
Yes (+300)
No (-500)
Advice: You ever see the movie "Unbreakable"? Remember Samuel L. Jackson's character? The guy whose bones splinter if anyone sneezes within a five-mile radius? That's Percy Harvin. They call him Mr. Glass. (http://www.blogbusters.ch/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/unbreakable-filmszene_01.jpg)

8. Which region will have the higher local TV rating?
Denver (-150)
Seattle (+110)
Advice: They don't call Seahawks fans the "12th Man" for nothing. Besides, I haven't checked the forecast, but I'm sure it'll be raining in Seattle tonight. What else is there to do but sit in and watch TV?

9. What will be higher?
Peyton Manning passing attempts in Super Bowl XLVIII (-325)
John Elway completions and attempts in Super Bowl XXXII (+250)
Advice: Elway had just 34 combined completions and attempts in Super Bowl XXXII. In 18 games this season, Manning attempted fewer than 34 passes just once. Unless Manning retires before kickoff, Elway's got no shot.

10. Who will the Super Bowl MVP mention first in his speech?
Teammates (1/1)
God (3/1)
Fans (11/2)
Other team or player on other team (10/1)
Family (12/1)
Coach (14/1)
Owner (25/1)
None of the above (9/2)
Advice: Well, first you have to ask yourself who you think will be named MVP. Seattle's Richard Sherman, for example, is more likely to give props to L.O.B. than G-O-D. Peyton "Aw Shucks" Manning, on the other hand, would probably start with kudos for his teammates. I'm going to go with my gut and say Sherman takes the honor, which means my money is going on "other team or player on other team" since Sherman's top priority will be to diss whichever "sorry receiver" he ends up covering tonight (http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/01/richard-sherman-erin-andrews-interview/).

we all know that, but the black panthers don't know that. they think QBs win games by themselves so everyone makes fun of them for that. if Seattle wins, they're going to celebrate almost as hard as the nigs on Maury who just found out they weren't the father.
