mcfadden and mjd are both better off as part time backs at this point. mjd lost his burst that made him a legit home run guy, while mcfadden has skinnier legs than i do, and so he has his struggles running through guys for tough yards. both are good in the passing game though

i don't get why rotoworld is shitting bricks over the raiders though... its common knowledge that teams shouldn't rebuild through free agency, but the writers there are seemingly upset we didn't throw top coin at young free agents, but instead filled 9-10 holes with vets who can play for 2-3 years while their replacements are drafted during that timeframe. the veldheer shit stings, and thats where it started, but i haven't had too much a problem with their offseason since. its even been reported that schaub's restructure still has no guarantees beyond 2014...

They didn't save as much as I would have liked. There's no way Wilfork would get $8M a year in the open market and I have my doubts about how much he can recover from that injury at his size/age. Hopefully he's taking his recovery PEDs.

the thing about Mack is he can do virtually everything well. He can take on blockers, he's stout against the run, he's a dynamic pussrusher, and he's really good in coverage. the last time i remember such a do-it-all prospect was actually Aaron Curry, although Curry was never a great passrusher. Curry sucked in the pros for the most part, but as far as prospects go, he's the last one i can think of that had such a wide skillset coming out

:lol the Falcons were injury-plagued all year on both sides of the ball. They are an above average squad, as evidence from the past few years. I know because they are in our division and I catch most of their games. Stop acting like you know what you are talking about.

DeCoud was a pro-bowler in 2012 and racked up like 15 INT's in the past two years. Not too shabby. Besides, he had a terrible front seven in ATL.. We have the best front seven in the league and made players like Mike Mitchell and Captain look above average.

Sure, Roman Harper is a horrible signing.. but DeCoub is not.

Don't know why some are saying they got a good FS. Decoud was just awful last year. Plain and simple. At times, embarrassing.


Mark this down as well Decoud takes bad angles and if anyone just looks like they are going to block him he cowers down and looks lost. I remember a few games he lost for this team because he did not cover his position properly. I can still see the Pittsburg Game as Decoud watcher the RB go past him he looked scared.

As the Falcons have implemented an extremely aggressive approach, DeCoud is now forced to make things happen on his own, and he simply doesn't have those types of skills.

He can't cover, is not in the least bit physical and doesn't tackle well in space. It's hard to pinpoint exactly where he excels.
