The interviewer didn't really challenge him except after the interview, saying he thinks Barkley might be underestimating the Spurs a little bit. Until recently, their point differential over the last 25% of the season was superior to the Spurs. They are 2nd now.

spurs top 2 players are not playing as well as they did last year.

Supporting casts typically do not perform as consistently or as well in the playoffs.

It is not crazy to pick the clippers over the spurs. I personally am a homer and believe the Spurs will get it this time, but the clippers are clearly contenders.

I expect the clips to be a tough out for the thunder in the 2nd round, and may very well beat them. If they do, I think we have a better chance to beat them than the thunder, so if I was not going with the Spurs, I would pick the thunder today to win the west. I think the heat, if healthy, are just as likely as not to beat all comers, but I am hopeful the spurs have a superior supporting cast this year, and are healthy. Last time, tony got hurt in the finals and it cost us.
