No Spurs player has averaged over 30mins during this streak tbh.
that we may even lose in the first round if we play Memphis or the Dubs. LOL. Is he trolling us at this point or is he really this stupid? It's one thing to really like the Clippers' chances since they are a legit contender but to say we might lose in the first round is ridiculous. He just said all this via a radio interview on CBS Sports radio. He went on to say we're gonna run out of gas and are peaking right now as the Thunder and Clippers are merely looking ahead to the playoffs. The interviewer didn't really challenge him except after the interview, saying he thinks Barkley might be underestimating the Spurs a little bit. Well, the fat bas has been consistent in his stance toward us all season and even had us as the 6th best team in the West before the season began. LOL.

Thunder looking ahead to the playoffs, wtf![]()
Barkley is a contrarian. He's just saying that stuff, not because he really thinks its true, but because it goes against what most other people think.
Well, he's still on the Heat's nuts like every other NBA "analyst"
Charles Barkley is an entertainer... you don't listen to him for basketball takes...
Barkley needs to go easy on the Bolivian marching powder, moonshine, and Fatboy burgers....![]()
Won't be too long til we all find out who the best team in the West is. I am looking forward to that.
Barkley is always wrong anyway, who cares.
The Spurs are definitely maximizing their potential right now and at the same time have significant room to improve.
That is what is oft times referred to as the fabled cat bird seat.
Barkley is funny in small doses and that's about it. When has he ever been right about anything?
Barkley is a nit wit. That whole collection of monkeys is a pack o' fools.
Thanks for consistently keeping us updated on every little piece of media that doesn't fellate the Spurs, this really matters.
Barkley is...Barkley is....Barkley is.....Barkley is............
He was right in 2011 on multiple accounts mind you. He's been wrong since then though
Barkley just not jinxing the Spurs, that's all. I commend his efforts. After all, he was the guy that gave everybody "GINOBILIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!" lol
+1.
It's little wonder that so many in the national media (and particularly those who frequently say positive things about the Spurs) ridicule much of this fan base for its insecurity.
GOOD GOD get the over it already! Spurs fans the most sensitive of all times it seems! everytime the media picks someone else or some feel disrespected about then the Spurs fans post a thread about it all sensitive and whining about it! Grow a pair and relax and let things play out! GOOD LORD relax. Who gives a ? le is what they aim for now, not media attention or props.
It looks like we're peaking but I still think this team can get better. Right now, they are just sharing the ball/making open shots and helping each other out on defensive rotations on almost every possession.
Tbh I think I just heard that fat Sekou Smith say he thinks the Mavs will knock them out in the first round, lmao. He even acted like it wasn't going to be a close series.
What is it with fat black baskeball analysts and their terrible opinions on non monkeyball teams?
I haven't seen the Spurs break a sweat in that Pacers game... more like they handed us the win by themselves. So much for peaking right now...
Right...because an 18-game winning streak is a sure sign that you're not playing well...GTFOH...
I don't think you understand what I just said, I just said the Spurs didn't have to push themselves to get that win. They play extremely well, but this game, the Pacers really shat themselves.
That's what happens when you play ty teams all year to get a swelled head then play an elite composed team that doesn't iso ball all day or shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly dude to dumb players, bad chemistry, and trying to get on ESPN top plays.
I don't buy this bull about 'peaking.' There's no such thing. It's not like they all of a sudden decided to play harder. The Spurs are playing this great because everyone is healthier, and they've boughten into the team game.
