There's one thing that Jeff McDonald does that pisses me off to no end.

He'll highlight offensive and/or defensive struggles or successes to mentally fragile players, and it always seems to screw up their rhythm.

For example, Danny Green is an extremely mentally fragile player. He's highly suggestible. If you bring up the fact that he's struggling and imply that he needs to shoot better for the team to win, that makes him nervous and uneasy. How many times have we heard Danny try to distance himself from a role in which he's expected to hit open 3s in lieu of one in which he's merely expected to "hustle and play defense" and any offense he gives is a "bonus" in his mind? Every fucking time Jeff McDonald brings up Danny's offensive struggles, I feel like ripping his hair out. It's like Jeff enjoys sabotaging our chances at a ring.

He needs to fucking stop fucking with our young, mentally fragile players' heads and just ask his usual stupid, trite interview questions that nobody really gives a shit about.

If Pop says something nice about a struggling player, he'll deliberately bring that up during interview questions. "Pop said you did did an excellent job at blah blah blah, <insert related question>..."

Hell of a start! Spurs activity level on defense has been great. POR had a few rim out, but some of those were tough looks. Spurs have to rebound, they have given up at least 3 offensive boards already and that will bite them in the ass hard. Guards have to put bodies on guys.

Offense looking crisp though. It's amazing how when POR doesn't just have to focus on one ball dominant guy, how many good looks the offense is going.
