I'm thinking Bonner, Daye and Baynes aren't coming back.

Baynes is coming back. But Bonner might go to the Hawks. W this pick, I see Daye getting release or traded.

Amazing value at 52 for Philly in Micic. Thought he was a possibility at 30.

Not so sure neither Baynes or Ayers successfully filled the 4th big spot (he did have moments) Ayers likely can't be moved so I'd wonder if they'd release Baynes and go after a vet. I'd love for the Spurs to try and get Okafor.

Interesting.

Matt Moore of CBS gave that pick a D when it was the Sixers and said that they must have picked it out of a hat. If the trade is true, I wonder what the grade changes to when it's the Spurs' pick.

Probably not. Philly doesnt need 6 2nd rounders

Baynes played very well this season. He just had a string of injuries that hampered his playing time. Not going to get a guy like Baynes for 1 mil. Baynes is ufa right now. Spurs can make him rfa before July 1st.

Baynes played very well this season. He just had a string of injuries that hampered his playing time. Not going to get a guy like Baynes for 1 mil. Baynes is ufa right now. Spurs can make him rfa before July 1st.

I like Baynes for the most part but not entirely sold he is the best option for the 4th big spot. The Spurs ,of course, aren't going to go with Duncan/ Splitter and Diaw as our big over 82 games. With Ayers likely to return (save for a trade) I could see the Spurs attempt to upgrade the big man core.

If they don't, he needs to cut down on his fouling which is my primary concern (he is a great rebounder and a decent player on offense with a fairly soft touch)

Okafor or maybe even Gasol (i'm highly skeptical about that one) could be options.

Okafor, had a lost year but is only in his early 30's and has been productive over his career 10, 10 and 1.7 bpg in 9 seasons in the NBA. I could see the Spurs kicking the tires on Emeka. He may be willing to take a short term deal (on the cheap) in hopes of rebuilding his stock for a last payday later on.

Scola (a PF, though) could also be available if waived for cap room for Stephenson.
