Belinelli getting the Finley treatment. There's always a trashy player Pop gotta fall in love with:bang

Finley at his worst is still a better player than Marco at his best(and I say this as somebody that hated Finley). At least Finley hit a lot of threes in the post-season for us. Marco went '04 Hedo and choked last playoffs.

Really? OKC went on a 13-0 run with about 3 mins left in the quarter... That's better execution down the stretch. You're the homer fan with a shit IQ. Open your eyes. Stop blaming the Spurs pathetic play on the refs. That's all you ever do.

yeah its totally westbrooks fault that the refs screw up sometimes. ill agree, this game was oddly and inconsistently officiated, but OKC executed and made shots, played good D. we played well for stretches, but not well enough to counter their best 3 players.

So now you're backing off your initial statement of him getting free throws for attacking the rim. Cool. They shot 2x the number of free throws as we did on our home floor. They could hack Duncan and fall on Bonner while he's shooting, but we can't touch Westbrook without a whistle. Of course that's going to make a team passive when you continually get whistled for every contact, our players can't afford to foul out when short handed.

:lol "Screw up" = systematically hose the Spurs out of free throws whenever they play the Thunder. :rollin

Maybe we should learn to grab a rebound. I would be willing to bet that a lot of those free throws came on second chance opportunities where if our guys had cleaned up the glass, there wouldn't have been an opportunity for a foul to happen. They crashed the offensive glass hard tonight. We should have responded by crashing defensive boards even harder and getting out in transition for easy points. We weren't able to do that so they kept up with the strategy and owned us. Add that their 3 point shooters were hitting and it's a wonder the game was even close.

Against any team in the league, the refs don't call any touch fouls. Every time we play okc we can't even be within 12 inches of them shooting a 3 pointer or they will hit the floor and shoot freethrows. No other team in the league against us is given this treatment but them. The league does not want okc to miss the playoffs. They won't. I'm telling u, you're gonna see some strange things in the coming months. Games being restructured for the playoffs picture just to get the Thunder in.

Disappointing game. As a spurs fan, know they wont win every game, but I expect them to put up a fight every game. The 3 ot game against memphis was a close loss, but the spurs fought hard to try to win the game. That was not the case today.

They were in today's game all the way through. :lol Duncan and Parker mailed it in today, but the rest of the team stepped up.

Frenchies will hate me for saying that, but I think that we will regret that extension in 2 years.

It's already looking that way actually.

In 2 years? I'm already regretting it now. $56 million promised to an aging point guard who's impact stats are worse than current Kobe's. TP should at least apologize to the team by officially retiring from the French national team. Spurs took care of Parker, Tony should do the same and stop wasting everybody's time with that irrelevant Eurobasket bullshit.

I sure hope not... Pelicans do not fit us ... Davis and Evans especially. Add some home cooking, some rest for players and I see the Spurs lose another one ...

Possibly, but wasn't Tony great only a game ago against the Clippers?

A loss is a loss but there is a silver lining. Cojo is getting some big minutes that may pay dividends in the playoffs. If for whatever reason Patty doesn't come back as strong as he was last year, Joseph will have logged good time against strong competition. I hate Westbrick but the dude brings it every night.

I had no idea Diaw was sitting out. That tells you what Pop thinks of "big" regular season games. In the end, we lost to another non-playoff team. We aren't winning a Championship if Kawhi doesn't get back though. That's who needs to get fixed. He's now the "X" factor that brings a certain amount of uncertainty and chaos when teams match up against the Spurs.

There's no competition for the biggest douche in the game and its James Harden. Westbrook is a close second with all the theatrics but I hate to even look at James Harden's ugly mug. Just disgusting.

Don't we have a game tomorrow? I think that's why Diaw rested...

Not gonna win many games when you half ass it on the boards and turn it over that many times tbh. OKC was the hungrier team from the outset and played much harder throughout.

Yes he was. That's why I said in 2 years. He has ups and downs right now, but my fear is that he might have more downs than ups in a near future, especially considering that Duncan and Gino won't be there checking everyone.

You may very well be right. Certainly history suggests you are. But that is sort of the way the NBA works. Tony's deal is fair for his market value at the time of the extension, so if he's struggling at the end of the contract, that's the risk the Spurs must pay to keep him in the present.

Pop said that was the reason in the postgame interview. Also Diaw's still got a fever.

Leonard is not an X factor...

He is simply the most valuable Spur.

Mainstream spurs fans. :lol

Oh my Big 3 :lol

Durant wasn't playing either. The Spurs made Steven fucking Adams look like the second coming of Wilt Chamberlain out there

Ha, that's what I was thinking. Knocking bodies around, throwing down dunks in traffic, blocking shots.

I missed the game. It looks like I didn't miss anything either, just OKC giving the Spurs a little payback for the WCF loss last year. I was hoping the Spurs would win it though. The Thunder always play the Spurs better in the regular season and when the playoffs start it's a different tune. Spurs better play them better next time and win.
