So OKC got Kanter, Augustin, Singler, and Novak in exchange for Jackson and Perkins? That's a pretty good deal for them IMO...

Unless Augustine rapes the Spurs in the postseason, they're now an easier match up. Duncan can stay on the floor against Kanter while Kanter isn't the post defender/Duncan defender Porkins was. Don't even need to get started on Jackson.

:lol What's up with Detroit bringing back their 2004 starters? Big Ben, Billups, now Prince. Where's Rip Hamilton?

Glad for Prince.

Clippers can't catch a break. Couldn't get Chandler, Prince going to the Pistons instead of getting brought out. Probably end up with Porkins

Nah, I look at him as the team's HIV...there is no cure. But he's like Magic's HIV in that you can still succeed with it somehow for an unusually long time.

Retirement ceremony? That's what I thought when I heard about KG to the Wolves.

OKC, Houston and Portland all got slightly better, no denying it, tbh..none of them were major upgrades, but all good moves from a basketball standpoint..

Miami is a lot better, too, of course..

Only one of those teams got slightly better. Maybe Portland, but barely. HOMemade themselves worse and at best it's a lateral move.

Duncan averaged 18/10 on 55 TS against Perkin's "defense" in last year's playoffs. Perkins was the least of our problems when it comes to the Thunder. Westbrook facefucking Tony anytime they match up is a bigger issue.

Afflalo is a mediocre player, but he's an upgrade for one of the least talented benches in the NBA..

Houston lost nothing and gained a talented, athletic defensive player that has shown offensive flashes..

OKC gets a talented(albeit really overrated) post player with levels more talent than Perkins, along with a more reliable and steady PG..

They all made slight upgrades, I cant see the counterargument..

I don't think OKC's upgrades would be relevant against the Spurs, btw, since less Steven Adams is great for the Spurs, and Jackson has been fairly effective in his history against San Antonio, but the upgrades will help them against the rest of the NBA IMO..

Would anyone be opposed to something like Cory, Ayers, and rights to Dangubic for Harkless, & Nicholson?

I always think of John Salley when I see his name so I have the same reaction.

Milwaukee has a good looking young core 3 for years to come. I like what they did for the future.

It's not my picture...just came across it on Twitter. But yeah, Philly got that top 5 protected LA pick from Phoenix.

Hope the Warriors dispatch the Thunder in the first round and the Spurs never has to play against them. Perkins was dead weight and Reggie Jackson was slowly becoming a cancer by whining on the bench. Thunder lost nothing and upgraded with Kanter and Augustin. Augustin can pretty much start at PG on any of the bottom 5 teams but is used to the role as career backup so there won't be much complaining there. Thunder also got younger too. This team just extended their championship window provided they can fire Brooks after they get bounced in the first round by the Warriors.

Nice trade for Miami. I like their team now, should be interesting to watch. Hopefully they can knockout some good teams in the playoffs.

Dragic/Wade/Deng/Bosh/Whiteside is a damn good starting unit, but:

1) Their bench is horrible.

2) Because of their lack of depth, they can't have any bad luck with injuries (which they've already been dealing with). I don't know if I'd trust Wade to be 100% come playoff time.

I also love all the plebs overhyping the Miami Heat trade. TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS? This is gonna be a great trade to look back at and laugh at Pat Riley with in a first years. It's a WIN NOW move for a team that, let's be honest, even with Dragic, isn't going to win very much right now. What's this going to really move their dial to? ECF playoffs loss? OOOH BOY. They're still not a serious contender, not even close, and they just mortgaged their future. Meanwhile Wade ain't getting any younger.
I'm just so surprised people on the internet think the Heat made some great genius move here. :lmao I'm saying it right now, right here, this is going to be one of those trades that does not age very well.

Meanwhile Thunder's Presti goes from having to deal with a delusional "wants too much money to extend" Reggie Jackson to a delusional "wants too much money to extend" Enes Kanter, soooooo :lol

Jealous of the Rockets getting KJ though.

Add Afflalo to the list of washed-up scrubs that was supposed to be a difference-maker, tbh:lol..

Good bench addition for a team like Portland, but now that he's in the starting lineup to the replace Matthews, he looks worthless, as expected..poor defender, just a spot-up 3-point shooter that can occasionally post-up, mostly a liability..
