Call me crazy but I'm rooting for New England in this game. The Colts cutting Peyton Manning dissolved almost everything that made Pats-Colts a rivalry. Actually, Colts-Pats was never a rivalry. It was always Manning-Brady and we just fooled ourselves by bringing team logos into the mix. Yardage is a poor indicator of offensive performance. I follow Pro-Football Reference's Simple Rating System which determines points per possession. Seattle's rating was barely above average this season compared to the previous two seasons. They were ranked 11th overall this season which is down from 3rd last year and 6th in 2012. Their defense was once again ranked number one for the 3rd straight season, but their offense was considerably down compared to the previous two seasons. They were still ranked the best team overall in the NFC but the Pats were rated higher this season. Last season Seattle were ranked the best in the league during the regular season ranked ahead of Denver.

Ninkovich always takes the most shitty pass rushing angles against scrambling QBs, and Collins is the only linebacker who even has a chance at tackling Wilson in the open field. If they aren't over aggressive with the pass rush and just keep Wilson in the pocket, they should have a great game. Collins has been a stud on LB blitzes the last two games, but I'd much rather they have him spy Wilson on passing downs today than blitz.

I don't think they will blitz much. I see them stacking the box and containing the run while playing man against their WRs. They should well-prepared on keeping Wilson in the pocket. He's gonna run as much as possible since he won't have too many open guys to throw to, but the defense should be ready.
