View Full Version : Struggle Wilson is GARBAGE

I'm talking about choking in the biggest possible moment..
Great QBs love pressure, they would all take the opportunity to be at the 1 yard line in the Super Bowl, with the game on the line and the ball in their hands..the truly great QBs want the game in their hands, they want to control their own destiny..
Wilson had this opportunity, but the pressure overwhelmed him, he couldn't come through for his team..he's the only QB in the history of the NFL to throw an INT from the 1 yard line in the Super Bowl, with the game in his hands..first in history:wow:wow..
Unfortunately, he couldn't handle the pressure..
He's also the only QB i history to be in two SB's in just three seasons. He's also the winningest QB ever.
Dude, kinda over doing it a bit aren't ya? You do know of those great QB's who never won a SB....right?

Avante, I know how much you love "spots"..is there a bigger spot than the 1 yard line with the Super Bowl on the line?

How many "third" year QB's are beating a 15 year vet who has already won three SB's, that's the "spot" you look at.
Why continue to ignore..."you do knoiw a lot of great QB's never even played in a SB".....?

In all honesty, if you replaced Wilson with almost any SpursTalk poster, Seattle wins the game, tbh..
if you're talking specifically about the 2nd and goal situation, you may be right.

I knew there were a lot of dumb kids here but this is totally ridiculous.
Dan Marino only played in one SB and lost it. Philip Rivers, Tony Romo, Warren Moon, Dan Fouts, Andrew Luck have never been in one.
How about some perspective here, ok?
Russell Wilson already as a many SB wins as....
Joe Namath
Len Dawson
Drew Brees
Peyton Manning
And he's only 26.

He didn't. The dumb shit threw the ball instead of handing it to Beastmode. Not even Kurt Warner would have thrown that ball in the greatest show on turf pass happy offense. He would have given the ball to Faulk or Lynch (if he was hypothetically on the team).
THE dumbest quarterback play in superbowl history. Make sure you add that to Wilson's resume. No other quarterback has that on their resume.

He has a STACKED team. I don't know why that's so hard for you to understand. There was nothing special about him to begin with and dude just threw a pass that seattle fans will never get over. Much of that falls on Bevell for being a dumbshit for wanting to run time off the clock as his #1 priority, but Wilson was the one that threw it and went full retard.

The guy is very special what are you blind or just stupid? Ever listen to anyone who knows the game and what they all say about Russel Wilson? I've seen them all and RW is the best three year QB I;ve ever seen.
What if completes that pass, now what? Yep...MVP. Come on dude don't act like some dumb kid.ok?

Wilson had a choice, he could have said no. He could have changed the play. He did what he was told and blew the game.
The reason I mentioned the Rams is because they'd take a lot of risky pass plays, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have passed it in that situation, even with all those weapons. Colossal fuck up by Seattle. I'm not even sure a fuckwit like Mike Martz would call a pass play there.
I think the locker room could be fractured from this. It could rip the team apart before next season even starts. And if they make Wilson the highest paid quarterback in the league or give him anywhere close to that, then it's most likely over.

There were 30 teams that wish they'd been in RW 's sport.
Young guy doing as much as anyone ever has at his stage of a career, really nothing not to like. Look how long Peyton/Brees have been around. in two seasons RW matched them in and surpassed a whole gang of gtreat QB's who never won one SB.

so his achievement is to lose against a better opponent?

He only had to beat 1 good qb to get to those 2 superbowls
My point is this.....we have to look at the body of work not one game or one play.
His body of work last night was not good.
Didn't have a completion until the 2nd qtr. Consistently threw balls to bad spots where his WRs had to adjust an make great catches. If he was so great RW could have led those WRs for easy TDs. Oh and his last throw of the game. I'm sure glad the greatest 3 year run by a QB wouldn't be dumb enough to throw a pick with 30 seconds left, a TO and Lnych in the backfield.
If you think RW is the greatest thing since sliced bread, then I have some ocean front real estate in Kansas I'd love to sell you.

Russell Wilson has been historically great lately

The numbers Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has put up the past four games are like something out of a video game. He’s 89-for-118 (completing 75 percent of his passes), with 16 touchdowns and no interceptions after a five-touchdown game in a rout of the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Historic effort
Wilson became the first quarterback in Seahawks history to have a pair of games with at least five touchdown passes in the same season. He’s also the first Seahawks quarterback to throw at least three touchdown passes in four straight games.
The Elias Sports Bureau notes that Wilson is one of only three quarterbacks in the Super Bowl era to have a four-game span with at least 16 touchdown passes and no interceptions in NFL history (the other two are Tom Brady in 2007 and Peyton Manning in 2013). Wilson is also the first QB to have four straight games with three touchdown passes, no interceptions and a 70 percent completion percentage.
Is there anyone out there still deaf dumb and blind?
Look at this dumb fuck....0-2 SINCE CONTRACT......hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! Fuck the fact he's won more games than any QB in history with just 68 games played.
What a fucking moron.
My fav....it's BEAST MODE, hahaha!!!!!!!!! What a dumb fuck~~~~
Russell Wilson would star on any team under any kind of offense, and that's always been obvious. Why people like this faggot CN fight it like thay do...???

Hmm..... Hoyer has a higher QBR than Brady this year... What does that mean?
Answer me this... does Wilson go 13-0 on that Carolina team?? Lets pretend Newton was on Seattle for that game at home.. does Wilson lead that last second touchdown drive 80 yards?

Wilson is not the better passer. Wilson has had a better team around him with better weapons. Jonathan Stewart has been great for us and has always been reliable.. but he's not Marshawn Lynch.
Wilson would struggle very badly on this Carolina team. I've watched Wilson play for three years at NC State. He's accurate, but he's not asked to read defenses. He's not asked to win games. He's simply asked to make plays with his legs and not turn it over. Newton is asked to win games and read the defense. Newton is a pocket passer with the ability to run.

You do know RW left the college game as the all time passing efficency leader, right?
You do know RW has a far higher pass comp % and far less INT's and a massive advantage at QB rating.

Have you seen the teams Wilson has put his best numbers up against? 25% of his wins this year were to Jimmy Clausen. You are ignoring that he completely shit the bed against Green Bay, Cincinnati, Carolina.... Detroit...... St. Louis... need I go on?
Newton has played better this year, no need to be a homer about it. You completely ignored my Hoyer QBR vent... as usual.... you ignore that Newton is asked to do more... as usual... and you ignore that Newton has far less weapons.... as usual.

Why totally ignore what the numbers tell us? And what receiver does RW have on a par with Olson? And this season that Panther D is better than the Seahawks D. And Stewart is playing while Lynch isn't. And why ignore the fact the Panthers played a weaker schedule? And why ignore the fact a stupid blown coverage is the only reason RW isn't 5-0 vs Newton?
Dude, RW averages 5.9 a carry, Newton 5.3, RW has the superior comp %, QB rating. What the hell are you looking at?
Career wise it's not even close, it's all about RW.
Cam is having a nice season but he's no Russell Wilson and that should be real obvious.
Do this, find me anything that Newton has done better than RW, come on, what is that? It's not wins, it's not passing stats, it's not playoff success, it's not rushing, so what is it?

Whatever man think what you want.
Is it a coincidence that Wilson's best games are blowout wins against terrible defenses? Newton has shown time and time again that he can win the game in the pocket against elite and above average defenses. You can show me all the completion percentages, QBR, etc you want, but you also won't respond to the flaws with that basis - Alex Smith, Tyrod Taylor and Hoyer would be elite QB's in that regard.
There's a reason Newton is the MVP and Wilson is just a "yeah he's playing well". It's because Newton takes over the game with his arm. Wilson has better weapons, a running back that was averaging 6 yards a carry. We will see in the playoffs.

Wins. It's all about winning. But. those who actually understand the game know about....
Panthers played a rinkydink schedule, and the Seahawks had offensive line problem early on.
Why do you keep totally ignoring the fact RW is the top ranked QB in the league, Newton.....number nine!!!!!!
spurraider21

Wrong. Jimmy Graham was a better receiving TE every year he's been in the league except this year. And you'd take Ginn over Lockette?
You're wrong on this one spur raider.
graham hasn't played for a few weeks, which have been wilson's best games

Teams mostly figured out Graham when he's in the game. Expect a passing play and also put a physical CB on him and he's pretty much neutralized.

It is funny.
If ya talk about how while in the NCAA RW was the all time passing efficency leader, ya read.....that was just college.
If ya talk about how he walked right in and took over, ya read.....Matt Flynn sucked.
If ya talk about how the guy has won so many games, ya read....he has a RB and a defense.
If ya talk about how his first 4 seasons were the best we have ever seen, ya read......it's a team sport.
Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
I've seen them all from John Unitas to these guys today, and I'm a Niner fan, so why am I so high on RW? Why should I care? Could it be because he's the best young QB I've seen, ya reckon? The guy has it all and only an fool wouldn't see that. He's doing things we've never seen before, he's a special athlete and it's real obvious.
RW could play in any offense, that's always been obvious to anyone who knowes the game. Seattle runs a little different offense, one that nobody else in the league could run like RW does.

If a QB can be the best....passer....the NCAA had ever seen what's that tell us about his arm? Keep in mind all those legendary QB 's played college football and none threw the ball any better than RW did. So for anyone to.....but can he pass.....hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To be the best ever at the NCAA level is important. That's why the NFL pays these guys milions of $$$$$, yep, their NCAA exploits showing potential.

As usual you're missing another point. If a QB at Wisconsin can put up passing numbers better than anyone else ever had that tells us he can throw the ball, ok ya with me? For anyone to question his ability to throw the ball, hahaha!!!!!!
Why do we have the combine? Aren't these guys STILL just college guys? So we do care what these guys can do at that level, right? When we hear....he ran a 4.34 40...that's his college time, right?
How many times do we hear....he won the Heisman...well?
I heard today somebody talking about Ted Ginns HS track career, where he was one of the fastest hurdlers in the nation. People care about that stuff, if you don't who cares? Dude, I'll talk about what I want, ya got that slugger?

Only player in history to win 50 games in their first 68 starts.
Only player in history to win 6 playoff games and appear in two SB's in their first three seasons.
Only player in history to throw for 15 td's in 4 games without an INT.
Shortest QB in history to win a SB.
Only QB in history to led the NCAA in pass efficency and the NFL in QB ranking.
Only QB in history to start 68 games in his first 4 seasons.

He was fantastic as an Oiler back in the old AFL days, he held the yards in a season record for decades. And the guy opposite of him was Bill Groman a 9.5 sprinter.
There was a chart showing what Todd Gurley has done vs all the greats in their rookie season, yep ,Jim Brown etc.

Tom Brady sat on a bench as did Aaron Rodgers, the Falcons dumped Brett Favre, Manning threw how many INTS? Marino lost the only SB he played in.
Joe Montana took a few years to get rolling.
RW steps off a plane, walks into camp beats out the big $$$$ guy, then...
rookie...wins a playoff game, almost two.
second year....wins it's all
third year...comes within a yard of winning it all again
fourth year....number one rated QB in the league right now

Russell Wilson had a far superior team to Newton's both coming into the lead and afterwards. The wins and success were due to the team, as evidenced with his 4 pick debacle against Green Bay. He also had by far the best running back in the league. The past four games, his best of the season, Rawles averaged 6 yards a carry and racked up 900 yards. He is now injured.
I always tell people to let things develop, but the fact that Newton led a 2-14 team to a 13-0 record must be overrated because he has a lower completion %. Never mind that Hoyer has a higher % than Brady, but that obviously is the indicator of success. Newton has a great corp of WR's too like Philly Brown, Jericho Cotchrey, Devin Finches and Ted Ginn Jr.
Might I add that Newton has resurged a franchise.

Because he's a great ball player. But he's not an elite QB, and he's not a better pocket passer than Cam.
Show me a replay, any replay, with Wilson either making an audible or reading his checks and I will give you credit. Well when we talk wins...it's RW
We talk RW vs Cam...4-1 RW
We talk comp %...RW
We talk playoff success...RW
We talk td/int....RW
We talk QBR...RW
We talk QB rating....RW
So how in the hell does Newton stand a chance?
Dude, RW has done things we've never seen before.
Newton has inferior stats, has been owned by RW, has far less wins, throws far more INT's. So....?????

What's really funny is watching you rookies running down players with just a couple/few years of NFL experience. That is so rookie.
Russell Wilson is only going to get better and better, and only a fool wouldn't have known this.
Little people, the guy plays in a read option offense, ok, OK? Do you know what that means? He's not in a three step, five step offense, ok?
If he was in a pass pass pass offense he'd done what he's done, that's win win and win.
Now cool the stupidity and accept the reality, Russell Wilson is one of the elite QB's in the NFL.
Being rookies ya don't get what being the all time passing efficency leader at the NCAA level tells us.

Change in approach
The Seahawks changed their approach a little bit the past four games, but on shorter routes. The average pass to a wide receiver went nearly 13 yards beyond the line of scrimmage in Weeks 1-10, but only eight yards in Weeks 11-13. In Week 14, Wilson’s passes went 10.6 yards beyond the line of scrimmage, largely due to the 49-yard touchdown pass he threw to Tyler Lockett in the fourth quarter.
Wilson has been outstanding in throwing to Doug Baldwin. During the past four games, he has completed 23 of 28 passes to Baldwin for 381 yards and eight touchdowns.

Actually, you are right; he played well this season. My remark was a kind of flippant endorsement of Wilson at Drew's expense. I don't think Drew will be able to play at that level much longer, though. Especially, as you say, if they don't get a defense. It all starts with the DC. I could not believe that Sean hired Rob Ryan after his disastrous tenure as Dallas' DC. Just robbed (pun) Brees of a couple of years of contention. Still would not mind getting Russell to replace Drew when the time comes. And the end can come suddenly - just ask Peyton Manning.

Brees is in the top 3-4 in td passes and yards all time. One the best ever.

No, I don't expect the Saints will be able to replace Drew with a player of equal skill. Those guys don't come around very often. But Russell's size, arm strength, and especially leadership skill identify him as an excellent heir to Drew. No doubt that is a pipe dream. But as a Saints fan, I can dream.

Similar stature, similar intangibles. Two short guys with great leadership skills who play with a chip on their shoulder and just know how to win.

Russell Wilson is a great young QB who is only going to get better like they all do. What he has done with just 4 seasons of NFL experience is amazing, only fools and know nothings wouldn't see this.

Show me, prove it.
There is only one game they shouldn't have been favored in and that was...AT...Seattle. So what was I wrong about and be specific.
They had a three game home stand. Actually they had a schedule tailor made to win a lot of games early on, try five home games, a bye and just three road games in the first nine weeks.
What was I wrong about, well?
Dude, try just a little bit of real life, ok amigo? You 're so unrealistic it's comical. We all have our teams but keep things real, ok guy? RW has had a far better career than Newton, he's beat him many times, better playoff success and superior stats, yet ya STILL try to argue that, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
Here are their career stats please pay attention ok?

RW is 4-1 vs Cam.....ok?
RW has won 6 playoffs games, Cam...one...ok?
Keep things real, ok? You like Cam/Carolina but don't get stupid with it, alright?

Predicted us to lose about 5 games this year, and guess what? Won them all. But we lose one and we're a bit overrated, according to you.
Funny how AZ loses two games to two back-ups but they're not overrated. All those weapons Cardinals have yet they average less than ONE point more than Carolina who has "no receivers".
I used to give you respect, but now it's clear you don't watch all the games like you say you do.

For Carolina to lose (a real possibility) a team will have to come to BoA stadium and win, something that hasn't happened in well over a year - just as impressive as Seattle's home field advantage.
Carolina has beaten the same amount of winning record teams as Arizona has, and the same number of playoff contenders.
You're just a stupid inbred hillbilly.
I dont think you know what lucky is. Lucky isn't being up 37-7 over the Packers then proceed to coast to an easy win, while stalling Rodgers in the redzone, where he's statistically great, and giving him b2b losses for the first time in 4 years.. Lucky isn't driving for four touchdowns for 80 yards a piece against Seattle. Lucky isn't being up 35-7 and winning a shooutout by a fieldgoal. That's called finishing the game.

It is funny watching how this goes.
Russell Wilson is having the best start to a career we have seen, and there is nobody here who can prove that wrong. And ya all know it. Nobody has done more, won more.
Notice how the minute he has a bad game/fumble/INT (like they all do) its.....STRUGGLE! HE SUCKS~~~ totally ignoring the fact nobody has ever been more successful with just 4 seasons of NFL experience.
He had a five week period that set an NFL record.....crickets. He has made it very clear he doesn't need BEAST MODE....crickets.
What is wrong with you people ya really that far gone? You really don't see the greatness that is RW? How is that possible when he's made it to the playoffs every season, he's in the pro bowl a third time and has set NFL records and won SB's.
I find this amazing how all that gets ignored and it's....HE FUMBLED THE BALL, HE SUCKS~~~~~

You can do all the searching ya want you will not find
4024 yards
34 TD's
553 yards rushing
Russell Wilson is the only QB in history to accomplish that in the same season, a season that saw....
68.1 comp %
4024 yards
34/8 td/int
110.1 QB rating
553 rushing
Now how in the hell did he do that without BEAST MODE, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!
I challenge this board to find anyone with a better 4th season in their career.
Things only RW has done...
Most starts in a 4 season career
Only QB to post two 100 QB ratings his first two seasons
Most wins in first 4 seasons
Most playoff games in his first 4 seasons.
The most td's without an INT in a five game span
That above record
Anyone STILL not getting this?
Oh yeah, one yard away from winning two SB's in his first three seasons.
Now all that will get ignored if he throws a pick/fumble to lose a game, now it's....FUCKING STRUGGLE....hahahahaha!!!!! Just how fucking stupid are some of you?

I'm having fun with this.
In his senior season at Wisconsin RW sets the all time passing efficency rating for the NCAA.
In his rookie NFL season he wins a playoff game, and has a 100 QB rating.
In his second NFL season he wins the SB with another 100 QB rating....something no QB had ever done.
In his third NFL season he comes within a yard of winning another SB.
In his 4th season he's back in the playoffs again and becomes the only QB in history to throw for 4000/34 td's and rushs for over 500 yards...and...leads the NFL with a 110.1 QB rating.
This is fun, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In his career he has beaten.
Aaron Rodgers three times
Cam Newton four times
Tom Brady once
Peyton Manning twice
Drew Brees twice

He also held the NCAA record for most games with a TD pass at 38.

In his 4 seasons he's won as many SB's as Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers. Carson Palmer and Cam Newton have never even played in one.
CN, do you ever do anything....BEFORE...a game? What were your picks, opinions....BEFORE..the games, well?

maybe you also watched him in the last game where he sucked massive cock or the last superbowl where he threw a retarded losing interception in the end zone, or maybe you watched any of his playoff games aside of that game against denver where he redefined the term being carried and being godawful... you also may have seen him play this year and be absolutely terrible aside of some statpadding bonanza against awful competition.

Brady's first four full years as starter > Struggle's. Same goes for Otto Graham, Montana, and Unitas. And that's just who comes to mind immediately.
Struggle is a playoff choke artist and game manager who was dragged kicking and screaming to his only ring by Lynch and a generational mega-stacked defense. He is Trent Dilfer with inflated stats due to playing in the most offense-friendly era in NFL history.

John Unitas was cut by the Steelers.
Do I really have to post Montana's stats AGAIN to show you how wrong you are about that?
And, the thing about RW is that he didn't have to sit on a bench like Brady/Rodgers, he stepped right in and took off.
Now what about all those NFL firsts that RW has accompished don't you understand?
Histories only 100 QB rating in his first two seasons.
Won more games in his first 4 seasons than anyone.
NFL record...4000 yards/30td/500 rushing.
Best TD/INT ratio ever in a six game span.
