Obviously none of us know the actual answer, but he's 66 years old, and everybody gets burnt out at some point, especially in such a stressful job(relatively, of course:lol)..after coaching such a poor series and the impending retirements of Duncan/Manu in the next couple of years(or maybe as early as this off-season), do you expect him to remain here for much longer?

I think he's playing house money, tbh. It's different when you're coaching for your job. Pop isn't . He can basically do whatever the fuck he wants and get away with it.

Not saying he doesn't care, but he's around long enough and has enough job security/a great resume to where he can be coy and casual regardless of the outcome of the seasons. He understands the biz.

It's a hungry man's game. They were playing for something last year. Got contented again on a possible repeat year. During the presser, I was wondering how much of it was Pop being a good loser, and how much was Pop just not caring so much about the first-round exit. He's still one of the best coaches out there, even after this series.

TD said that last year, nobody on the roster was more driven to win than Pop. I still contend that even on "down" years, he's got the team's long term success in mind. I can't help but give him the benefit of the doubt after the run the Spurs have had during his tenure. This season may one day be remembered for being the year Pop started giving the keys to Kawhi. He won't always make perfect decisions and the team won't always play brilliantly under him. It's infuriating, as a fan, but I'll take the bad with the good.

Someone made a good point. The Spurs still had 1 more timeout. The Clippers pull that nonsense with the buzzer. He should have called another timeout and changed the play slightly just to keep the Clippers players of balance.
