Draymond is significantly better than LMA

It’s not close. AND he’s younger. If the Spurs could trade LMA for Draymond, they’d be unbeatable.

Draymond has rang and LMA hasn't. Some around here would tell you that a player with a ring > than a player without a ring.

Nevertheless, whenever there is a big deal like this one, fans of the teams that could be threatened by the move tend to convince themselves that the deal won't really improve the competition -- and certainly that it won't improve the competitor enough to make a difference. Spurs fans do that with some regularity. Sometimes we're right; sometimes it's just a rationalization.

By late May or early June, we and the fans of other top West teams will know if Aldridge to SA makes a difference.

Draymond choked hard in the Finals. Dubs had one of the easiest paths to the Finals in recent memory. They also would of lost to the Cavs had Kyrie been healthy.

Not gonna be so easy for them this year.

Still salty about Kawhi "robbing" Green of his DPOY.

I'll get flak for even saying this but....with the make up of the Spurs, I can’t help but feel in order to compete against them, it wouldn’t be a bad option to trade Bogut for Cousins. A more athletic, scoring center. Okay, I’ll duck now and avoid the flames.
Give Randive the "warriors 2.0 " team he wants so much to build. Heck, throw in Lee

:lmao

Need to redo your signature replacing Marco with LaMarcus. And maybe moving Kawhi's head to a body without C-cup breasts. :lol

No we won't. Because when golden state plays a team in which the starting pg isn't hurt and expose curry's defense while having a stretch 4 on the floor to pull green out the paint, they aint getting past the 1st round.

If we have to play both the Thunder and the Warriors in the playoffs then I hope we play the Warriors first. Hate that team more than any other team in the league and want the spurs to get their shot to knock them out.

Draymond Green plays for a team that had been building to last season's title run for several years, and is not the sole reason why GSW are defending champs next year. Aldridge has been on a team that, let's be honest, hasn't dreamed of anything other than middle of the pack Western relevancy for the entirety of his career thus far, and he isn't the sole reason they haven't won anything.

If we knew Lemarcus would take a paycut to play on a winning team, we should gotten in the sweepstakes as well. For 20 millions a season, it was bargain.

idiot doesn't know how NBA contracts work.

I dont really care what they say (good or bad) it took them 6 games to win against a D-League team.

The Thunder? Pshht, please. That Sun set long ago. They'll probably make the playoffs but Durant's foot issues are way too serious to believe he comes back better than ever. Not even concerned about them. Spurs vs Cavs Part II coming up in 2016.

flash in the pan champs

Yes, "flash" like the Mavs back in 2011.
A stupid playoff seeding system did the Spurs in for 2015. Were there like five sorry ass East teams that made the playoffs?
So at the end of the regular season you re-seed all teams based records over .500. Teams below .500 are in the lottery. You may more than 16 teams in the playoffs, you may have less. If you have an odd number of teams over .500, then the worst two teams in the league play a best of 3 "wildcard" series (if necessary, to be played in 4 nights) to see who goes against the #1 seed. Could help the "tanking" issue as well.
But I digress as the NBA is about greed (quantity) over (quality) competition.
Expansion is killing pro sports...and taking Amerika down along with it. But that's been the agenda for over 100 years.

After the playoffs were done, Kerr said that the team they were most worried about was the Spurs. The Spurs just got better. The rest of this story isn't too hard to figure out.
