View Full Version : Why trump has already won the republican nomination
The question thrown at Trump today about "leading an independent campaign" was Fox's final attempt to sabotage the man.
They are attempting to see if that question is going to lose Trumps fanbase.
The thing that is absolutely clear is that this exposed the media for what it is and the internet is exploding with "Death to foxnews"
People are not understanding that the question he was posed is the biggest question in the entirety of the nomination.
If trumps fan base falls and his independent campaign even claims a few % the dems win.
The GOP will have no choice but to nominate Trump because if they don't they will lose the election.
Trump knows this and put his dick on the table and called their bluff.

But he also knew he'd get plenty of media attention and also win the hearts of those like m>s.

VRWC/BigCorp decades long propaganda has led many people to believe corporate life, business is the highest form of human activity, achievement, and that all organizations, institutions should be run as businesses, with the top people being (over)paid. So taxpayers' schools, universities, hospitals, etc get screwed up and run for-profit, with maximized revenue, minimized costs, products, margins, but the main objective is that the top people get really well paid and everybody below is enslaved, screwed towards that objective.

It would be quite humorous if a Democrat stepped off the panhandling street and ran garnering a large % of the early vote forcing Hillary to respond. " I'm running on the free cell phone platform".

Their second best is unelectable? Kasich and Fiorina are the strongest IMHO.
In this case, yes.
Fiorina hasn't had to face any scrutiny yet, but she is a bad candidate. She talks a great game right now because no one is aiming for her. But basically, her only selling point is her business acumen, and that is terrible given that she was a complete flop in her most important business role (as HP's CEO).
Daily reminder that when trump wins the election and America is restored, voting records WILL be used to sniff out traitors. And you'd better hope you made the right choice.

I will take ANY Republican over Trump.
This asinine idea that he speaks the truth, he speaks his mind somehow qualifies him to run a country is pure BS. I will take a person who understands history and positions, understands and can read people, understands when to push and when to STFU, understands the whole of this country. People make a completely invalid jump that becoming a successful businessman is a qualification for running a country. Running a country is the most difficult job to do well I can think of. Running a business requires the ability to make a profit, that ain't hard except for some on this board who sit behind a keyboard all day and are perplexed by this ability.
And the idea that this guy is somehow immune to graft or personal profit UNLIKE career politicians is perfectly laughable. This is EXACTLY HOW he has made money, skirting rules and deception. If you are good at this you can make money.
He will not win anything because when the seriousness of running a country v. running a business becomes a palpable, the reality of what I wrote above will set in.

I have already told why Trump would be horrible. You basically say ithe country can run itself with a poor president so what's your point with even mentioning the others?
And since the country can run itself, even with a megalomaniac like Trump, what positions in Government would Trump have to fill, or positions that would make a difference? I am assuming you don't want to move to Somalia given my last sentence. In other words, if no one runs a government there is no government. The institution ceases to exist.
So what positions would are the most critical since the poor president will not effect the government?

Rapper drops Clinton for Sanders
Washington (CNN)California rapper Brandon McCartney, known by his professional name Lil B The Based God, (https://www.youtube.com/user/lilbpack1/videos) released a track last year expressing his love and respect for Bill Clinton.
And in his ode to the former President, titled "B---- I'm Bill Clinton," (https://soundcloud.com/everythingredflame/22-bitch-im-bill-clinton)he raps a sort of endorsement for Hillary Clinton even before her 2016 presidential bid was announced: "Shout-outs to Hillary Clinton. You gonna win that presidency."
But last month, Lil B took that endorsement back, and in a series of passionate tweets, he publicly endorsed Bernie Sanders, saying, "As much as I want to a woman leading the USA, right now it's all about Bernie ... he's the real he loves us."

Democrats like to argue that demographics are destiny. If so, they’re headed for disaster, as long as Hillary Clinton remains the front-runner for the nomination. A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll shows her favorability ratings shrinking, most significantly among two demographics considered key to Democratic turnout. The WSJ report focuses on one particular subgroup:
Many Democrats have long hoped that Hillary Clinton might expand Barack Obama‘s electoral coalition by drawing in more white women voters.
A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll suggests she may have a tough time pulling it off. Mrs. Clinton is losing ground with white women and many other important slices of the electorate, the poll shows, amid a spate of reports about her email practices, speaking fees and foreigndonations to the Clinton Foundation.
In June, 44% of white women had a favorable view of Mrs. Clinton, compared to 43% who didn’t. In July, those numbers moved in the wrong direction for Mrs. Clinton: Only 34% of white women saw her in a positive light, compared to 53% who had a negative impression of her, the poll found.
That’s a problem, but one that Democrats have had in the past, too. As Peter Nicholas points out, Mitt Romney won that subgroup by 14 points in 2012. The scope of the problem is what should worry Democrats, especially since one of the main premises of the Hillary Clinton campaign is the opportunity for women to make history by electing the first woman President. Either that message isn’t as compelling as Democrats thought, or Hillary herself isn’t.
That’s not the big story, though — this graph is:
http://media.hotair.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/wsj-chart.jpg
Look at the slide in these key demos within the Democratic coalition. In just one month, Hillary has lost nearly 10 points among all women, and is now underwater. Her negatives have jumped significantly among independents to a majority (27/52), and close to a plurality among younger voters. In all three cases, the number of neutrals declined at the same time, which means less opportunity to correct the trend. Even among black voters, a constituency that Democrats must have both engaged and enthusiastic in order to win, a significant drop in favorability has taken place. She went from 81/3 to 66/15 in thirty days.
It’s not just the suburban-mom vote. It’s across the board in almost every demo that matters. And this collapse is happening fast, suggesting once again that the more people see Hillary Clinton, the less they like her.
Nichols offers Democrats one lifeline at the end:
If Mrs. Clinton wants some comfort in the latest poll numbers, she can look to history. Back in 1992, a Democratic candidate named Bill Clinton also grappled with a poor negative image. In the summer before the presidential election that year, only 30% had a positive view of Mr. Clinton; 38% saw him in a negative light.
He went on to become the nation’s 42nd president.
Yeah, but. In 1992, people hardly knew Bill Clinton, and the exposure of his infidelity did some damage. At 30/38, though, Bill had plenty of upside left and a lot of political talent with which to woo the neutrals and the soft opposition, and his peccadilloes were seen as personal. Hillary Clinton has had 23 years in the spotlight since that time, and the scandals in which she’s mired are related to public corruption, not private relationships. Even if there were people who don’t know Hillary well enough to be persuaded, she clearly lacks the natural political talent that Bill has, or her favorables wouldn’t be collapsing, especially among otherwise loyal Democratic constituencies.
Literally every woman I've spoken to about this, at least a couple dozen, ALL hate Hillary

Comedians love him. Donald Trump is practically a caricature of himself. He's so rediculous he should be an asterisk in the polling results.
Yet Trump leads all Republicans in the polls. Not just one poll, not just one state, and not just one week. Why?
Most people write it off as a fluke. It's not sustainable. It's just a temporary embarrassing moment in American politics.
I believe they are missing the bigger story. There is an ideology at work here.
It's hard to pin down exactly what is Trump's ideology because he tends to say whatever comes into his head. He often contradicts himself, except with the jingoism so popular with the GOP. However, he is consistent on at least three issues.
1) Immigration (complete intolerance)
2) Economic nationalism (shift trade policy to mercantilism)
3) Corporate policy (eliminate corporate taxes and regulation)
On all three of these issues Trump is consistent with one of the most sucessful political ideologies of the 20th Century - Fascism.
With the full economic collapse set to happen before elections, they can blame democrats and welfare rats. Then they can offer the military as a viable job since so one has any money. This is literally Wiemar.

Looking at the polls the only candidate whose numbers have drastically changed is Carly Fiorina. I would venture to say after Trump smacks her around in the next debate her numbers will drop. One thing I have learned about political debates over the years its not about sounding the smartest that wins you the debate but it's about who comes across as the most aggressive. Trump will continue to be aggressive and in the process make all the other candidates look weak and thus will continue to have the lead in the GOP primaries.

Lol Whitehouse.gov "facts"
I wished him the best, tbh... tho it wasn't unexpected when he was absolutely terrible. Him being largely unpopular wasn't a surprise either, goes hand in hand with the job he's done.
Did he fulfill his campaign promises or even try? Or did you simply think his campaign promises were shitty as well? I mean, if voters elect a guy and that guy does what he said he would do, that's what they wanted, regardless how unsavory the promises (that's on the voters as well). Do you think they got that?

Lol Whitehouse.gov "facts"
Strawman from Blake, unusual. I never called them facts.
There's a lot of shuffling around and lashing out, but no one has actually taken the time to outline where he's failed and what would have been a success (based on his campaign, not based on your political leanings).

He largely did not, but, a lot of what he promised was impossible to do. So I understand people got conned, and he's certainly not the first to do so.
I would even argue the did the exact opposite of what he promised, at least on salient points, like healthcare, manufacturing and sticking it to his hedge fund buddies.
