Kawhi has a forearm sprain.

For listing the only available sf on the market available for the Mid? :lol Thirsty for attention bro.
He was a starter on a playoff team last year..
Except nobody brought of him in any of the posts & some folks thought he was actually out of the league or retired:lol. Muphucka were praying Simmons could be a rotation player along w/ Kyle:lol. Plus, Chinook (the resident ST genius) said he wasn't interest in Butler:lmao. That was actually my first post ever on ST::king

Pop is really really strict this year. A lot of those things went on last year and the team was loafing around TBH.
I suspect there were many defensive issues though still to talk about, there was a layup line at one point at the rim and as always the dreaded Diaw/West combo got killed in OBoards and and lack of rim protection.
But its like :deadhorseat this point. We are bound to continue to see them together bc Tim needs a breather. When another team goes small/perimeter its not such a big deal bc then they can't rebound either, the problem is when there are bigs on the bench and you need them together. It is a given truth at this point that in all reality West is not a 5, even a bench one.
Yep, i think in part because he has 3 new players now, and 2 of these veterans, who have to see that pop is strict with anyone, so he is punishing mistakes no matter who is making them. So that if the time comes that he has to say something to either west or aldridge he can back up his action.

We don't know for sure, if you remember last season when he injured the hand he was back and played a game and then in the Portland game, one guy slapped the hand and that was it, Pop sat him for a month.
But really for me, more than anything is that it's a scary fall, so that took the fun out of the dunk.
I will say though, we are not out of the woods yet.

Oh, well cheers then. :toast :lol I was hoping we picked him up. I got excited when he posted a spurs reference on instagram during free agency. Think it was about Duncan. I chuckled when I saw people wondering whether he would make the team.

It was his own fault to, with that offensive foul they didn't call. He went flying because he pushed off of ol boy, and didn't know his own strength. :lol

The more I watch Kawhi's dunk, we're really lucky that wasn't a lot worse tbh. His right arm was really close to having an Andrew Bogut-like injury.

It's going to stiffen up overnight but as long as he didn't fracture his ulna bone he should be fine otherwise he is going to be playing w/ an elbow pad like LeBron did a couple of seasons ago. At least he can still play defense w/ a fractured elbow.

I could tell that when he hit the floor, he got the wind knocked out of him. Then upon further review, his elbow was the second part of his body that hit the floor which was why he kept trying to stretch it on the sideline before getting back into the game.
Much ado about nothing.
Great orad win.

Best hockey assist was Patty's behind the back pass in the first, which I think went for one or two more passes before a basket.

LMA bought tickets for 70 kids tonight. Still giving his support to the community. As for the booing, guess that's what they are 'supposed to do' like Pop said. Still uncool...glad he lit them up, that's what he's 'supposed to do.'

Portland gave away Matthews, Batum. Lopez and Aldridge. That is 4 starters. So the fan base should have zero reason to be bitter on the players.

They seem salty as hell. But, to be fair, it probably doesn't help that LMA came to SA of all places considering what the Spurs have done to them in the playoffs.

Butler was an Anti-Jimmer to me. I didn't like him until I saw videos of his play. He showed he could shoot, drive and finish -- even at his age. He went from being a scrap-heap vet in my mind to the best-case scenario. I didn't know his defense and rebounding would be this good, though. He fits in very well with the Spurs now that Pop plays Green and Leonard more minutes.

My section was filled with Aldridge haters so it was great seeing them so quiet once the Spurs took over the 4th quarter.

That being said, BillMc is starting come playoffs.

:flag: Must have been a great one to see live...especially near the Spurs bench. I got to sit one row behind the Hornets bench and luckily most of the great action happened down there in the second half. Different game that close.

In the arena, you could tell Kawhi got the wind knocked out for a second, and he banged his funny bone as the second point of impact on the floor. Sounded a lot worse than it was.
