It's been a few years back, but there was a season where the Spurs started out winning pretty much all their OT games and just about all the games decided by like 3 points or less. A lot of Spurs fans (myself included) insisted it was because the Spurs were so good, and always executed down the stretch. A very few said that it was more about luck. Someone posted a study that showed that in games that close, it's essentially a coin-toss. The better team (better record) loses just about as often as it wins.

The Spurs defied the odds early in the season, but it caught up with them later. I think it was one of the infamous "fools gold" seasons. I know that their luck ran out, and they didn't do much in the playoffs. I guess if the Warriors can keep it up for a whole season, they'll have earned the right to say they weren't lucky in any of these games.

I still say that the Dubs late-game advantage is named Steph Curry. They may win some close games without him, but I don't know if that would continue in the playoffs, if he isn't 100%, or if he comes back to Earth just a little bit.

The Spurs should handle the Warriors with ease as long as Porker isn't allowed to shoot the ball or play outside of garbage time. Those mental faggots can beat up on injured teams in the playoffs but I certainly wouldn't trust them against the Spurs.

The main point here is that GSW are not an unbeatable juggernaut, 9 games of their 31 victories were decided by 2 possessions or less. This fact has nothing to do with the Spurs (Spurs have 4 in 29 if you're curious though :P )

If we're trying to compare GSW to Spurs, head to head matchup is the only thing you can compare, everything else is opinion and conjecture.
