they have the athleticism
Obviously the warriors are a great team but they don't have the size and athleticism that is the Spurs only real weakness. We'll see but we may be a nightmare matchup for them.
they have the athleticism
If you think this, you haven't been watching the Warriors, tbh.
It's the combination that really gives us fits while they don't have the size they need against us.
Bad take. Don't forget that they have lots of size outside of Curry (and Barbosa) at other positions. Livingston and most others are 6'6-7" and up. That'll create issues for Mills and Parker.
Dubs-Nuggets going into OT. Curry left the game today.
Parker and Mills will create problems for them too. Spurs have the players to match up with midget ball
What happened with him?
shin contusion
Wow...I'll have to keep an eye on that. Did it look bad?...or it just precautionary?
It was mostly precautionary. But it's something to look out for.
How many OT games have they gotten lucky enough to walk away with a W? They're good but not quite as good as their record.
Good try Nuggets, on the road too. Klay and Draymond played 45min each
It's the same leg that was already injured.
It's been a few years back, but there was a season where the Spurs started out winning pretty much all their OT games and just about all the games decided by like 3 points or less. A lot of Spurs fans (myself included) insisted it was because the Spurs were so good, and always executed down the stretch. A very few said that it was more about luck. Someone posted a study that showed that in games that close, it's essentially a coin-toss. The better team (better record) loses just about as often as it wins.
The Spurs defied the odds early in the season, but it caught up with them later. I think it was one of the infamous "fools gold" seasons. I know that their luck ran out, and they didn't do much in the playoffs. I guess if the Warriors can keep it up for a whole season, they'll have earned the right to say they weren't lucky in any of these games.
I still say that the Dubs late-game advantage is named Steph Curry. They may win some close games without him, but I don't know if that would continue in the playoffs, if he isn't 100%, or if he comes back to Earth just a little bit.
With 3 OT wins and taking another 7 close games to victory, clearly their youth and athleticism is working in their favor.
For sure without Curry, Warriors are a good team but not great team.

lol
Spurs with the weakest SOS in the league and someone here is saying the team that's looking like a juggernaut is lacking some crucial winning aspect. I thought I saw everything.
they have luck. w r better team.
The Spurs should handle the Warriors with ease as long as Porker isn't allowed to shoot the ball or play outside of garbage time. Those mental gots can beat up on injured teams in the playoffs but I certainly wouldn't trust them against the Spurs.
The main point here is that GSW are not an unbeatable juggernaut, 9 games of their 31 victories were decided by 2 possessions or less. This fact has nothing to do with the Spurs (Spurs have 4 in 29 if you're curious though :P )
If we're trying to compare GSW to Spurs, head to head matchup is the only thing you can compare, everything else is opinion and conjecture.
And who has the second weakest?
Hint: golden showers
of course the two best teams are gonna have the weakest schedules...that's just common sense...
Right...if you're beating every team on your schedule, you're lowering their standing as a good team and thus giving yourself the weakest schedule le because you're making your opponents look so bad![]()
Not to mention that SOS is kind of a sham if you're one of the top teams. SA cannot play themselves, and haven't yet met GS. Is that their fault? That has a HUGE impact on SOS.
