Here we go. First game of the RRT tonight as we're in Miami tonight to take on a 29-23 Heat team who have won 6 of their last 8. Timmy, Bonner, and Manu are all officially out. Hassan Whiteside, Luol Deng, & Udonis Haslem are all listed as "Game Time Decisions." Tyler Johnson is out indefinitely after recently undergoing shoulder surgery. Could still be a trap game for us, but would really help is those guys missed. Will need LMA to continue his stellar play, as he potentially goes up against the best shot-blocker in the NBA right now in Whiteside. Tony should also feast on Dragic tonight. And we'll need production from our bench as usual as well. Let's get it.

I keep remembering that game 6 of 2011 vs the Grizzlies. Blair couldn't even get on the court. Dick J put up 0 points as a starter and Z BO had that 16 point 4th. Not to mention Shane Battier had the Spurs number on defense. That was a horrible series and props to RC for building this current squad. To reload a team without missing the playoffs is insane!

Said almost the exact same words to someone yesterday. I am truly enjoying the season (this game may not be so hot, but...), and realize that we are seeing one of the best Spurs teams in their history. The fact that GS is having a season for the ages may mean that we might not get to hoist a trophy, but we are still having a great time as fans this season. We might still win it all, though.

Either way, I'm enjoying the season with what is almost certainly the last hurrah for the big three together. Grateful and proud to be a Spurs fan.
