Kawhi is the man on this team, and as such this one is on him.

No excuses. No "he doesn't get the ball enough." He's the best player on our team, one of the top 3-5 in the league. He needs to demand the ball and takeover.

Kawhi has now dropped down on my list. Too many times this season when a team has really focused on him, he's been average offensively. I can't put him in the top 3 anymore with his offensive struggles. Curry, KD, Lebron and even Westbrook I'd put head of him at this point. He scrapes in at 5th.

He's going to have to show me a lot more than the garbage he's shown me tonight and against GSW in general. Lebron fucking put up huge numbers against these guys last season when he was gassed and with the entire GSW team focused on stopping him. Kawhi is nowhere near that level. I'm not even sure I want to even let him try as I'm thinking it would be better to make LMA the focal point on offense.

Kawhi has now dropped down on my list. Too many times this season when a team has really focused on him, he's been average offensively. I can't put him in the top 3 anymore with his offensive struggles. Curry, KD, Lebron and even Westbrook I'd put head of him at this point. He scrapes in at 5th.

He's going to have to show me a lot more than the garbage he's shown me tonight and against GSW in general. I think a lot of fans take pride in the "Pop not showing his cards" theory that they believe there's an extra strategy that Pop has up his sleeve. Meanwhile the Spurs, even with an impressive 65-win season, have looked progressively worse for months. Shooters are cold, ball doesn't move, defense makes terrible mistakes against strong opposition. On paper the Spurs and Warriors look destined to meet in the WCF for an epic series but Golden State has made it abundantly clear that they will skullfuck this team six ways to Sunday.

I'd love to be wrong, but absolutely nothing about how the Spurs came out against the Warriors in all four games this year tells me I will be.

Dummy, Kawhi's jumper was off tonight but he was solid in other areas. If the starter could have hit a couple of OPEN shots, this could easily have been a W. The most important takeaway is that the Spurs CAN control the pace when LMA is rolling & he went up against their FULL frontline. Diaw could be a dependable 3rd scoring option since Porker can't get to the rim against the Worriers & provide dribble penetration.

D-West seems playable when the pace was SLOW & Kyle/K-Mart didn't look like a fish out of water for the 2nd match-up in a row so they should be rotation players against the Worriers.

24 yrs old and really this is the season where he is carrying the team and they go as he goes. He's really been very consistent most of the season. Occasionally even stars have a poor shooting night. It's too bad no one else outside of him and lma can really pick up the scoring if you need him to.
