That I agree with. When Hillary just speaks in a normal voice and doesn't try to sound "inspiring" she's actually a tolerable speaker. I don't think Bernie can be helped but I like his accent lol.
That's one of the things I hate most about Obama, you ask him what time it is and he jumps into his inspiration voice.

Since when in her entire life Hillary Clinton cared what the fleas think of her? The dumb ass left is nominating a neo-con criminal and calling it progressive. That's what this election comes down to. The isolationist vs the neo-con.
Meh, I'm not voting for Clinton, I'm voting against giving the teabagger house a president who will sign all their stupid shit.

I'm the most cynical person there is but I think smart people can learn from their mistakes and I don't believe Hillary is a stupid person. I think the more people pile on the criticism the more she'll want to prove people wrong and actually be a good President. I doubt she wants to prove everyone right about the things they say about her :lol

Apples & oranges really. Even though he pretended to be an outsider, Cruz is the traditional establishment guy acting like a bitch because the "change" candidate beat him. Bernie is the "change" candidate who just embraced business as usual.

It is apples and oranges for more than that: Cruz knows he's relatively young, and he can be a frontrunner going forward. But, for Bernie there's no such thing. This was it, and there's no going back. That's why I said it's too late in the game now.
Cruz is your average calculating politician playing the long game. There's no long game for Bernie, this was his shot, and there's no rolling back the candidacy at this point. He might as well hop in the Clinton train and try to use his influence from a potential Clinton administration. Realistically, that's all he has left.

Except he didn't say that, at all. He addressed very specific points where he feels blue vs red does matter, at least to him, and are very important going forward. ie: SCOTUS nominations.
Should he speak up about the rigged nomination process? Sure. He actually did during the campaign, he even sued the DNC, IIRC.

INTEGRITY DISQUALIFIES SANDERS FOR WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON — The Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’s potential bid for the 2016 Presidency was declared over, on Monday, before it even began, because of a key feature of the American political system that makes a person with integrity ineligible for the White House.
According to some experts, the electoral system has developed a number of safeguards over the past few decades to prevent someone with independence and backbone from occupying the Presidency.
“Bernie Sanders’s failure to become a member of either major political party excludes him from the network of cronyism and backroom deals required under our system to be elected,” said Davis Logsdon, a political scientist at the University of Minnesota.
“Though that failure alone would disqualify Sanders, the fact that he is not beholden to a major corporate interest or investment bank would also make him ineligible.”
Because of his ineligibility, Logsdon said, the Vermont Senator would be unable to fund-raise the one billion dollars required under the current system to run for President.
“The best source of a billion dollars is billionaires, and Sanders has alienated them,” he said. “Clearly he didn’t think this through.”
Logsdon said that Sanders might persist in his quest for the White House despite his ineligibility but that such an effort would be doomed to fail.
“Our political system has been refined over the years specifically to keep people like Bernie Sanders out of the White House,” he said.
“The system works.”

On Day One, Democrats ruthlessly exposed a core Trump weakness
The biggest speeches of the night, from New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders, projected a tone that seemed designed to contrast sharply with the hate-and-rage-fest otherwise known as the GOP convention.
All of them, in one way or another, sought to align the Democratic Party, optimistically and aspirationally, with culturally and demographically changing America.
They explicitly called out Trumpism — the rendition of it featured at the GOP convention — as brimming over with reactionary hostility towards the evolving and diversifying America of the 21st century.
All of this is driven in part by the fact that the voter groups out of which Democrats hope to assemble a winning national coalition — college educated whites, nonwhites, women, young voters — appear to reject (https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2016/07/25/this-is-the-single-most-depressing-finding-in-todays-polls-showing-trump-ahead/) the xenophobia and ethno-nationalism at the core of Trumpism’s appeal. But there’s a key nuance here.
There is a direct link between Trump’s alienation of key demographics and the lack of high profile surrogates that will be there for him this fall.

Democratic National Convention Night One Draws Bigger Early Ratings Than RNC
geez I wonder why maybe because Bernie was speaking
But Sanders' own delegates were as angry as ever Tuesday morning, just hours after he implored them to support Clinton in his prime-time speech. Sanders delegates in California booed down speakers, including Clinton supporter Rep. Xavier Becerra. At one point in Becerra's brief talk, some delegates hopped on tables with Sanders signs, while other delegates pounded loudly on the tables in unison.
As of early Tuesday morning, it did not look like even Sanders would be able to sway his supporters.
"Believe it or not we are not all blind followers of Bernie. We love Bernie and everything he represents, but all because he tells us to do something doesn't mean we will," said Kari Garcia, a 25-year-old Sanders supporter who went to the convention with the California delegation.
Garcia and others at her table, including Sanders delegate Brian Carolus, were loudly booing and chanting "Bernie!" throughout the California breakfast.
Carolus, a 27-year-old delegate from California, said calls for them to get behind Clinton or face a Trump presidency amounted to "victim-blaming."
"I don't like that characterization, because it's blaming the victim. It's victim-blaming. We are the victims of their fraud and their corruption and their cheating," said Carolus, who cited the leaked DNC emails as part of his mistrust of the Democratic Party.p

DNC BREAKS FEDERAL LAW AT CONVENTION: VIOLATION OF SECTION 8 U.S. Code § 1324
The DNC aided and abetted two illegal aliens on Monday night during the nationally televised DNC Convention 2016 in Philadelphia. Thus, according to the law, the DNC twice violated Section 8 U.S. Code 1324. (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1324)
At 8:04pm local time, the DNC invited an illegal alien to accompany her daughter to tout Hillary Clinton for president. During her speech, which was televised on national TV, the daughter explicitly said her mother is in the United States illegally. Minutes before the mother and daughter team took to the stage, the DNC played a video showing the daughter communicating with Hillary Clinton during one of her tour stops in Nevada. It was then that the daughter (Karla) admitted to Hillary Clinton that her mother (Francisca) received a government issued letter of deportation. Clearly, the mother is ignoring the deportation order, and so to is the DNC and Hillary Clinton.
Following the mother / daughter act, another illegal alien took to the podium at 8:09pm local time. Her name is Astrid Silva, and she said in clear english, “I came to America illegally with my mother when I was 4-years old. We crossed the river [Rio Grande] on a raft.”

Which part of that law did the DNC break? Be specific, and tell how it was broken.

Of all the things to shit on Bill about: NAFTA, China's most favored nation trade status, running with Greenspan's retarded vision for the economy, repealing Glass-Steagal, the expansion of the prison industrial complex, shutting down the Waxahachie supercollider, failing to get a national healthcare that he campaigned on.. and the right thinks he's evil primarily because he cheated on his ugly twat of a wife and lied about it.

The supercollider being shut down really pissed me off. Texas could have been the center of the scientific world, they would have likely found the Higgs boson 15 years earlier if not for Clinton signing the bill that killed that shit. It was going to be a much bigger collider than the LHC.

He might be, but he rode a nice economic bubble, tbh... Cuban probably loves him. Also, when you look at what followed, except for Bush Sr, I don't know I wouldn't put him up there over Dubya and HNIC.

Though yeah, I'd take Bush 41 over Clinton any day, he is head and shoulders above any recent American president on foreign policy. I'll forever be grateful to him for how he handled the fall of the Berlin Wall so that Gorbachev didn't get overthrown by Communist hardliners who would have started another world war over the prospect of losing East Germany.

41 said this 25 years ago, I don't agree with most of the shit he did but dammit if he wasn't spot on about this.
Ironically, on the 200th anniversary of our Bill of Rights, we find free speech under assault throughout the United States, including on some college campuses. The notion of political correctness has ignited controversy across the land. And although the movement arises from the laudable desire to sweep away the debris of racism and sexism and hatred, it replaces old prejudice with new ones. It declares certain topics off-limits, certain expression off-limits, even certain gestures off-limits.
What began as a crusade for civility has soured into a cause of conflict and even censorship. Disputants treat sheer force -- getting their foes punished or expelled, for instance -- as a substitute for the power of ideas.
Throughout history, attempts to micromanage casual conversation have only incited distrust. They have invited people to look for an insult in every word, gesture, action. And in their own Orwellian way, crusades that demand correct behavior crush diversity in the name of diversity.
We all should be alarmed at the rise of intolerance in our land and by the growing tendency to use intimidation rather than reason in settling disputes.

What is Maddox's problem? I found the beginning of the speech the best part - very quaint - and what is wrong with being absorbed in one's marriage - that's probably when it was most successful - controversial, shocking, weird? She's the one that's controversial and weird.

1/2 way there. I will set aside my temptation to be snarky to someone I don't agree with, and try for a more constructive tack:
Your posted article made a rather strong claim, and this requires evidence, and some reasonable, logical support.
Claims that laws are violated generally require a bit more than rote recital of the law. Definitions, usage of terms, and tests generally have to be met. The posted article was really thin on what part of the code was violated, and silent on how, which is why I suspect you are having difficulty. I will assume that you read the entire question, but will emphasize the part that requires critical/original thinking:
Which part of that law did the DNC break? Be specific, and tell how it was broken..

I would point out that a long marriage involves commitment, emotional maturity, communication, and compromise, i.e. strong interpersonal skills.
Your chosen candidate is on his third marriage, all arguably rather shallow trophy wives.

I made no derogatory comment about the Clintons' marriage - I was complimentary toward Bill's speech - my comments were directed at Maddox. You don't have to lecture me on what a long marriage entails - I already know (and there is a big distinction between a LONG marriage which the Clintons definitely have and a HAPPY one which they probably don't - but that is a still a guess). I am not voting for Trump because of his marriages and imo, a businessman who has been as successful as he has must have strong interpersonal skills. And you are assuming a lot - that beautiful women are shallow - isn't that sexist?

That's ridiculous. Anyone with a brain knew that Bill was going to speak on her personal side in order to try to make her seem human. That means he's going to talk about her both as his current wife and as the not-famous person he met all those years ago. I don't remember if Michelle did the same thing in 2008, but if she didn't it's probably because Barrack was always a "cool" candidate whose best attribute was his ability to relate to people.
This election can't just be about Clinton being a woman, sorry.

I don't really agree with her feminist ranting, but I do agree with the weird vibe she clearly got from his speech. The first half just seemed way too forced and scripted, like something out of a cheap romance novel.
Its not exactly a secret that the Clinton marriage is pretty much a political arrangement at this point. Hillary stuck by Bill during the Lewinsky scandal and he now needs to return the favor as a loving husband who helps her get into the whitehouse. Pretending their marriage is some great example of true love just seems fake.

They came to light this week when Jessica M. Vaughan, (http://cis.org/vaughan/fact-checkers-cant-handle-truth) policy director for the Center for Immigration Studies, fact-checked several media fact-checkers who tore into Trump's speech and found his immigration claims a ripe target.
In his speech, Trump said: "The number of new illegal immigrant families who have crossed the border so far this year already exceeds the entire total from 2015. They are being released by the tens of thousands into our communities with no regard for the impact on public safety or resources."
Vaughan, who has testified before Congress several times, said "This statement is 100 percent true." For good measure, she provided new Border Patrol figures from their website
