I figured the offense would get bogged down and Tony Allen would be giving Kawhi trouble, then it was announced Allen would be out indefinitely and the Spurs rolled the Grizz in game one and the first half of game two. Since then everyone but Kawhi and to a lesser extent Parker has disappeared while the Grizz have gained a lot of confidence and found a formula to score 100+ points in back-to-back games. Meanwhile Pop has continued to shit the bed in the postseason and get outcoached by another rookie HC.

nah... Bertans is that threat and he was still benched most of this series. Pop is just really stubborn.
Lee, it's not just about Zbo, though some of those missed shots were forced by Bertans and not him. It's also about his poor help defense, he's very inadequate, his propensity to give up and 1 when defending the rim and the fact, he doesn't shoot thus doesn't space the floor and this series it's tough for him to do what he does best bc Zbo is actually contesting him very well. This is probably not the series for him.
Tp/Patty were there for a few defensive possessions after dead balls, you know that as there is a thread about it. For what he did (Patty), Danny or Simms were a better call for defensive possessions... etc. Just a series of blunders by Pop IMO.

Gasol and Conley are both 40+% shooters on the season, Carter is around there as well, and the rest (Ennis/Seldon/Harrison) regained confidence.

Not shooting leads to issues ON BOTH ends which is the issue. Especially when MEM is shooting so damn well unexpectedly.

Also, what stood out in that video that as bad as Lee was overall, he did a damn good job at rolling to the rim and making excellent passes to shooters. Normally guys hitting off of those really bolsters Lee's value but them not hitting + his issues on defense made him a big negative.

I am not sure what that means... I found it curious bc I had previously been seeing pictures of Juice with the white jersey practice colors and Dijon in the black, which meant Juice was in the rotation with the bench and Dijon was like a deep bench reserve for the starting lineup in practice.
I found it curious they reversed it. I am now thinking it was probably to get Dijon some reps in practice with the bench crew, while getting Juice at the same time some practice with the starters... for Juice he's had reps all season with the bench crew, but Dijon probably needs a few in case they need him.

Agreed on all points. Sure Pop could've done a few things differently. Maybe they work, maybe they dont. But its a make or miss league. These guys have to start knocking down shots.
